I bought a car on line in June from the owner Jim Rathman. The only positive to this experience was that he delivered it to the airport for my family and I. He was so proud of how they have these great relationships with there customers and said the car I was buying he actually sold to the previous owner and was familiar with its history. When I went ton his shop his guy, I believe his name was Jesse, said it was bought at the auction, why did he lie? He first said on the phone that the car would be delivered full of fuel, it was not. In only 8 hours the engine light was on and he told me to take time out of my schedule to have it checked at his shop. His guy told me that it was the gas cap and he reset it. Then the air was not cold and as I complained via email regarding multiple problems he suggested it was user error, which I have in writing. Again more complaints as the engine light has come on 11 times for different problems stemming from the emissions controls , the AC and the air suspension. Jeep in Golden Colorado has addressed several of the problems and yet the engine light is on again as I write this post He shared with me in great deal how they inspect their cars. That is a lie, as the problems with the car I bought were apparent within a few hours. The man got out of owning dealerships in Florida as he described it , in part due to the less than honorable methods of selling cars, new or used, and he wanted to have a more ethical way of selling cars. In my experience, he has failed again and there are far too many wreckless actions and statements to be a simple mistake he will explain off. What a deceitful experience, Im glad Im not looking in his mirror. And they wonder why used car salesman have the reputation they have.... I dont. If that is the experience I had with the owner I cant imagine the team having the desire to understanding good products and services. Im sure his response will reflect hes a good talker, I will repost so others are aware

Id just like to start by saying Ive purchased three cars from this dealership. And neither me or my family will be purchasing any cars from jfr again. After they tried to pull something on me. So a couple weeks ago on a Friday I called about a truck I was very interested in. And we did end up running my credit that day for the vehicle. Never got a response back had to call on that Tuesday to only find out that Ive been approved for the truck that I wanted with my down payment. Got a call back saying that I could come get the truck if I had another 2500 on top of the money that I already had as my down payment. I agreed to come down and look at the truck and Phil Hoffman The consultant I was working with had told me somebody was there looking at the truck we pulled my credit for five days ago and that he would call me back to let me know what was going on. Come to find out they sold the truck that we pull my credit for... absolutely not a hold or anything… And after figuring out which bank we pulled credit for him and I got in contact with the bank it showed that the five grand that they wanted as my down payment wasnt even showed in my credit application. I would advise everyone to stay away from this dealership because they are stealing money from people and people are not realizing it because you people do not see the credit application they put in. On top of that I was trading in a vehicle for the truck as well and they told me they were going to give me two grand for my car without even seeing it in the putting on my credit application they were only going to give me 300 for it. So where is all of this money going? Somebody please tell me

Beware!!! I wish I didnt have to put a star at all on this rating. We purchased a used vehicle from this company. Paid cash for it. It has now been 90 days and we still have not been able to license it and get our title. We have had to purchase two more temp tags because of their title clerical errors and have wasted over two hours of our time at the DMV with still no license or title. The first error was that they needed to apply for a dup title...did they call us and let us know that. No we had to call them after our first Temp tag had expired and we went into the DMV per a letter that we received from JFR to see if the paper work had been sent into the DMV to be processed to find this out. We final got the paper work just a few days before the second temp tag expired. We both went into the DMV again which we had to because the sales man never ask what names the title needed to be in so my husband and I have to both be there to get the title in both our names if and when we can final get it titled. The DMV told us sorry that the paper work will filled out incorrectly and we had to purchase a another temp tag. Called JFR were they sorry....were they apologetic ..did they offer to pay for the two temp tags that we have had to pay for.....NO....were they short with me....YES. Maybe they need to go back to class and learn how to fill out the paper work right the first time so that their customers are not inconvenience

I was in to see Mark Ford. After test driving a few vehicles I decided they did not have the car I was interested in. The options I had were a few Nissan Altimas, Mazda 5 and a Nissan Rouge that were in my price range and qualified for what the bank approved me for. I explained to Mark that I was looking for an AWD sedan, which he did not have one available at the time we visited. I told him I keep in touch and see what other vehicles they had coming in to see if I was able to wait a little to find the right car for me. At that point he became very irritated and a bit angry. Went on about how we should settle for a much lower quality car than what we are looking for due to our financial situation, placed a card on his desk and turned away from us. In the past when weve dealt with car salesmen they always shake our hand and thank us for our time and offer to keep in touch when something else comes into their inventory. None of that was there in this case he did not walk us out the building, shake our hand or offered to get in touch with us when he had new inventory. Worse sales experience I have ever been in. Walking out of there made me regret taking the time to give JFR a try and felt like I wasted a few good hours of my time. Would not return there and would not recommend Mark unless you are looking for someone who will tell you to settle for less rather than help you find a vehicle you truly love.
