I had the best customer service today that I have had in at least 5 years. I was stranded in the middle of nowhere, and the tow truck guy offered to take me to AutoZone. He brought my car there and the guy at the store wanted to sell me a fuel pump. There is no way I could have afforded that so I asked him to charge my battery and sell me some heat. He charged my battery and then tested my alternator and told me that my alternator was bad. I said I only had a couple hours more left on my trip and asked if I could make it there. He told me there was another AutoZone in Greeley and that they would charge my battery back up for me. So I pulled into the AutoZone in Greeley and asked the gentlemen there to take out my battery, charge it, and also tell me how much I had lost in charge since Fort Morgan. The store manager helped me, he told me that I was at 79% and that he would charge it back up for me. I told him my phone was almost dead and that I would be lost without my GPS to tell me where to go next, to the next AutoZone to charge my battery again for my two hour trip. He said it wasn’t a problem, I could charge it there as well. After he had my battery hooked up and charging he said that he could take a look at my alternator, maybe he could fix it. I was 1,000 miles from home at this point and really at a loss of what to do so late on a Saturday, so I said he could look at it. He walked around my car and noticed right away that my bolt had sheered off and that the belt for my alternator wasn’t actually doing anything! I couldn’t believe it! He went into the store, found the right bolt, replaced it, put my battery back in and tested my alternator. He said it was still bad, but that before it was reading at 0 and now it was reading at 13! I felt so much better, now I could make it the rest of the way on my trip and figure out what to do about a car a little later down the road when I have time to prepare. He really was a savior! I couldn’t believe the fix was so simple. He bought me time to find a new car, as mine isn’t really worth the fuss of a new alternator. I couldn’t be more thankful. I had such a stressful day and he had helped me out so much. It didn’t take very much extra effort on his part to go the extra step, but it changed my whole day and I couldn’t thank him enough. When I asked what I could do to repay him, the only thing he asked was that I fill out this survey. Done! In a time where customer service isn’t really the greatest, I never would have thought I would receive service like I did today. I have to say, based on this one experience, I will be an AutoZone customer for life! I’m so impressed and thankful!

I was in the Evans Colorado store today for 30 minutes looking for a couple parts that I needed . And I found the staff very disrespectful I am a white male and when I was walking to the counter they were arguing with who was going to help me because I was white...and they kept saying not to talk to loud so the customer doesnt hear. then when I got almost to the counter they all walked away... I was the only customer in the store. So I put my stuff down and walked out of the store. And drove across town to buy my parts at another store.. I have always bought my parts here and never was disrespected like this...

I went in for wiper blades. The employee gave me the wrong type but this was quickly corrected by the manager who helped me find the right type and attach them. Just took longer than I should have.
