Stopped by AutoZone to get a refund on a battery core (thought it would take a couple of minutes). Refund seemed to go through system OK, but then the cash register would not open. Young man at the counter tried several times without success. He then went to the side office to get a manager. (I could see him talking with the manager for the longest time.) Finally, the young came back out per his managers instructions (the manager would not come out) and tried the whole refund process over again without success. He went back to the side office once again to talk with the manager. After another ten minutes, the manager finally came out to try to help. The manager—a rather unfriendly bearded gentleman—tried several times without success to get my refund. Finally, after waiting a total of 20 minutes to receive a simple refund on a battery core, I asked the manager if he couldnt just open the drawer and give me the refund, to which he tersely replied, "Then my drawer will be short $19.49." I then told him that my wife and granddaughter were waiting for me out in the car, which only seemed to make him more irritated. Finally, he opened the drawer quickly pulled out the refund money placed it on the counter, said, "Here!" and walked away without a single apology. Very rude service!!!

Could do better in making sure auto parts are together and not broken. All Autozone stores need to make sure another store has a part that a customer is in need of before sending them to another store. I was in need of buying a new oil pan for my Jeep and the Austin Bluffs store told me the one on Palmer Park had in stock. Get to the Palmer Park store, told its not in inventory, they then sent the the Platte and Boulder store who finally had the oil pan. I went to the Austin Bluffs store to purchase a new fuel pump, strainers and a crankshaft position sensor. The Daimler fuel pump they had when I bought it turned out to be broken as told from my mechanic ( I knew there was something up, not sure as to what though, I do work on my vehicles and have taken auto in high school). Had to go up and exchange the fuel pump at the Garden of the Gods store and return the unneeded fuel pump strainers. But other than that, Autozone is a good place to buy auto parts just like OReilly Auto Parts. Just pay attention to what you need and dont get ripped off.

There was tech, I believe his name was Kyle... he help me change out a light bulb on my car... I have a PT cruiser so its not as straight forward as one would think. But he made sure he researched how to change it right then and there!! The customer service he provide was more than above and beyond, i was amazed. I will go out of my way to go back to this location because of the treatment o recieved; Kyle was helpful, concerned, and understanding. In my experience these auto parta store guys always seem a little off put or overly flirty. I digress, thanks again Kyle you rock!!!!!!

Justin B saved the day, he quickly detected issues with my van. This store is organized and smells clean. Definitely see myself driving 19 miles from Fountain to come here for stuff than wasting time with other places. Wonderful experience being serviced. I have been coming here for years and NEVER have I had an employee argue with me and tell my I was wrong. And as a heads up, I was right my vehicle is running now. Without spending almost 100 more then I need just to go back and have to get the part I wanted in the first place. I really dont feel comfortable coming back even though it is closer Ill take the time to make a drive so I can get my parts without arguments.

ABSOLUTELY the best customer service! Has a issue with a part ( MFG Defect ). After filling up the part with ATF4+, it failed. I bought the fluid somewhere else, because AutoZone doesnt carry it by the gallon. The part failed, and they not only replaced the part, BUT my fluid as well. Ray was awesome! Thank you all. Will never go anywhere else!

These guys were great! They helped install my wiper blades and when I came back the next day with a burned out tail light bulb that I didnt have the tools to remove the bolts for around the housing....they came out and helped with their ratcheting screwdriver! Nice people!

This store is the most convent for me to go to from going home or into work. The guys are always super helpful, profession, and dont at like they hate their job like other auto stores around town. I would still drive across town to go to this store just for the service.
