Let me start from the beginning... We went through Costcos auto purchasing program and was directed to go to John Elways Chevrolet car dealership. We were looking for a 2016 blue camero 1-SS and they had said they had one in stock. We made an appointment with them the coming weekend to look at the car and potentially do some paperwork. When we went in to look at the camero and worked with Taylor, they did not have it in stock. We did some researching and they said they had a black 1-ss in inventory but was at the "rail" yard waiting to be unloaded and wouldnt be able to get it to the dealership until the coming Monday or Tuesday at the latest. So we did the paperwork to prepare for the purchase. Come Monday, we made arrangements to drive down from Fort Collins (which is about 1 hour and 30 minutes away from the dealership) and called before hand to make sure that they had the car in stock. We spoke with Taylor and he said they had it in stock, so I asked him to double check. He did and sure enough it wasnt there and said he would get it there the next day (Tuesday). So we again arranged our schedules to come down on Tuesday. We called ahead to make sure that they got it in this time. This time we spoke with Ellison and he assured us that they had it in stock, I again ask him to double check and sure enough it wasnt physically there. So thats two days they said they had it and wanted us to drive down to sign for a car that wasnt actually there. Ellison told us he would make sure to get it there the next day (Wednesday). We again arranged our day to come down that Wednesday. We called ahead to see if they had it in. This time we spoke with Taylor and Ellison. One person would say they had it in and the other would say that they didnt have it in. After a few hours of phone tag, they both finally said it was in so we decided to go down. They actually had it in!!! As we were doing the paperwork, we were getting rates for a 2016 camero 2-rs instead of the 1-ss we wanted to purchase. So we asked them why that was and they told us because they didnt have the 1-ss in the system yet but the rates were good for the 1-ss. After awhile they came back and said that we were right and they messed up giving us the rates for a 2-rs. After about 3 hours of paperwork we were finally able to get into the car. Ellison couldnt find the manual and spare key so he would send it out to us, the manual was in the glove compartment the entire time but the spare key was no where to be found. He did eventually get the spare key mailed to us as he promised. A week goes by and we get a call saying that they were going to increase our initial monthly by about $10 because of some error they didnt catch at the time we were signing the papers. They sent the paperwork overnight for us to sign. At this point we were pretty fed up and practically ready to return the vehicle. We spoke with the finance director, Karina, and she explained the situation and wasnt willing to make up for any of the hassles or mistakes on their end. She fits her position of being the finance director and being strictly business oriented and not so much customer oriented. Lori from customer service had contacted me and I explained the situation to her and she was the only one who seemed to be of any help, she was great at her job being customer oriented. I was surprised to see that the dealership was willing to lose a customer over $10/month. I would not recommend anyone to that dealership. Ive never experienced this sort of hassle getting a new vehicle. If I lived in Denver I would rather drive up to the dealership in Fort Collins to purchase a Chevy vehicle, their services are 100X better, they just werent able to get the 1-SS into their inventory for another couple of months.

I attempted to purchase a truck from this dealership over the last couple of weeks, and even though I made it very clear to the individual I was working with that I was a very serious buyer, the associate did a poor job keeping in contact with me and following through with me. I was interested in a new Chevy Colorado, which is a difficult truck to come by, and I made an internet inquiry and was immediately contacted. I had the gentleman, lets call him JH, run my credit and asked that he put together some numbers for me to see what I would be looking at. He told me he couldnt do that until the truck was actually on site but that I could come down and check the truck out in person. I called to schedule an appointment, but when I didnt hear back I took the initiative and came down to drive the truck. My girlfriend and I both liked it and again reiterated our sincere interest in getting a deal done. I was told a new shipment would be in in a few days and that JH would contact me then once he had the prices and numbers together for me. After the date came and went with no call, I reached out to JH to see what he had for me. He called me back that night saying he didnt have it all together yet, and that hed be off the next day, but that he would definitely have it for me 2 days from then and we could talk about it then. After again not hearing from him when promised, I called on that third day and left him a voicemail on his line... I waited 5 hours and then drove to a Toyota dealership and bought a new 4Runner. That was 3+ days ago and he still hasnt called me back. I respect the fact that demand is currently far exceeding supply of the Colorados, so they are going to sell the truck with or without me, but for this guy to willfully neglect what was pretty much a done deal is not only bad business, it reflects poorly on the predominately positive reputation of John Elway Chevy. If youre in the business of selling cars, and you have a buyer saying hes ready to buy, it is probably best to return calls. Needless to say I will never consider even browsing this dealerships inventory online in the future. Zero stars if I could.

***UPDATE Since my original review (see below), my opinion has changed 100% in the opposite direction. I have had nothing but problems with this place, no one answers the phone there, the employees that work in the service department are a complete joke and are so rude, they give terrible service and really do the minimal to make things right. Long story short, I had a problem with my vehicle I purchased about a month ago, brought it in, had a problem with the amount they wanted to charge me for it (mind you, it was promised to be 100% covered under my 60 day warranty). They ended up fixing the issue, which took way longer than I was quoted and was a major inconvenience to my life. Then, today I noticed that the problem was not fixed, but it was made worse. I called the main line 3 times and no one answered. This was in the middle of the day, so I know they were open. I ended up calling my salesman, he told me he would have a manager call me back, and no one ended up calling me, why??? I dont know. To top it off, I am moving across the country tomorrow and I have a half ass job done on my car, which they cant fix because Im leaving the state. So since my window motor is NOT fixed, and the windows roll down automatically when you turn the car off and lock it, I guess youll be hearing from a vey angry customer if my car is tampered with or I have items stolen from my vehicle. This place is fantastic! I recommend everyone to purchase their cars here, whether it be new or pre-owned. Our salesman Eugene was great to work with as well as his used car sales manager. They got us done fast, got us the numbers we wanted, and genuinely felt like they wanted to help us get the best deal. Mike in finance was also fantastic, he worked with us, even though we had some difficulties along the way. My fiancé and I are now the proud owners of a Chevy Camaro SS, all thanks to the staff here at John Elway Chevrolet. It was a breath of fresh air coming here after having a terrible experience at Larry H Miller Cherry Creek Dodge. I would recommend John Elway 100% every time!
