I went to MGM Auto to buy my first car. I decided on a 2005 Volkswagen Beetle, for ~$7500, as is. I test drove it and had it looked at by a mechanically inclined friend. I should have taken it to a mechanic or driven it longer. I purchased it from Seth. On the way home after purchasing the car, it suddenly began jerking into gears, and eventually got stuck in fourth gear. Its one of those manu-matics. I went home, turned it off, and everything seemed ok. The next day as I went to drive it again, the gears on the dashboard were not correlating with the gear in the gearbox (the car was registering that it was in reverse when the gearbox was in park, etc). I called the dealership since it wouldnt pass emissions like that (you have 3 days to pass emissions, if theres a defect in those three days you can take it to the dealership and they have to fix it). I brought it back, and two days later picked it back up. I swear to god that Seth was stoned when I went back. He couldnt tell me what they had done to the car, couldnt give me a receipt, and the entire office smelled like weed. I start to drive my car home but it began doing the same transmission thing. Ive ended up having to take it to three mechanics, and its in the process of being diagnosed now. Best case scenario, at least a $200 fix. Worst case, a $4000 transmission. I havent even put 100 miles on the car. Of course, this didnt show up until I purchased the car. If you decide to go here, be careful. They sell lemons.

We moved to Denver recently and needed to purchase a reliable car for our family. We did the perfunctory online search using three separate resources and found a few cars that fit the requirement. I called on them but did not gain much confidence from most of the sellers I spoke with over the phone. I then visited a few lots in south Denver and Englewood but became concerned by the fast talk, the lack of specific knowledge about the cars, and the reluctance to provide warranties, etc. After awhile, I just gave up on the process – then school started and my wife and I were challenged with scheduling for work, the kids, and other commitments so we were back to the search. I feel fortunate that the next car I looked at was on the MGM Auto sales lot. Following the test drive, Roger and his team encouraged me to have a third party mechanic go over the car, MGM performed a minor repair, and they were fair on price. Roger and his group were knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant to work with. We have the car and love it. It was actually the first enjoyable car buying experience I have ever had.

This was our first time buying a car from a smaller dealership and I was a little worried that we would get stuck in a place full of the typical high pressure used car sales people. We found a great looking vehicle online and gave them a call to make sure they had it and the sales guy was very friendly, informative, and never once made me feel like he was going to try and "sell" me a car. That is why we decided to check them out. Once we got there Seth our sales guy was so refreshing, no pressure at all. Answered all of our questions, gave my wife and I space to discuss things and never once came across like a typical car salesman. He was great. They got us a great rate with outside financing so there was none of the typical car buying game of "Let me talk to my manager" or "How much can you pay a month" He told us the price of the car and found us the best rate we could get at a credit union and we were out the door. Probably the best car buying experience I have ever had. I highly recommend them and Seth.

I went there looking for a BMW. The salesman "Shawn" was the worst! This was my first time being at a smaller used-car dealership and the reputations that used-car dealers have holds to be true. He was short with his answers, rude, and seemed like he could care less if he sold a car or not. Even if he was having a bad day, you should know to put aside personal stuff from work - especially to a new customer. I own a business myself, and this is no way to treat your customers. Your mother should have taught you some manners.

terrible place !!! Beware buyer !! I did not listen to the reviews and made a HUGE mistake of buying a car cash from them. Since Ive bought the car I have spent thousands of dollars fixing everything on it. Buying this car was the biggest mistake. They dont even have a mechanic to look at the cars they sell. A younger guy just tries to fix them in the back of the building. Save your money and a huge problem and avoid them. I am going to file a complaint with the BBB.

I bought a 2000 Audi A6 here 2 months ago. I was impressed with these guys at the first phone call and I am still impressed with the car they sold me 2 months later. After looking at 5 other cars before I bought this one from MGM I still think I got the best deal and the best car. Thanks to everyone at MGM. I would definately use them again and recommend them to anyone who is serious about buying a great used car.

Horrible place to buy a car. Dont do it theyll steal your money. I bought a 2011 Mitsubishi Ralliart which I test drove and ran fine but after I got it and really inspected it. Found it had been wrecked and a new transmission put in it. And the sales guy wouldnt give me a carfax. Claimed I didnt need one because it had never been wrecked. Disappointed.

I cant speak to the car buying experience-my husband handled everything. I am now working on registering the vehicle. MGM Auto had a wrong phone number for us and because they were too lame to look any further using our name and address, we didnt receive the title in time to avoid a $25 late. This SUCKS!

It was a refreshing change from the over enthusiastic car salesmen Ive met before! They gave me the exact information I needed and helped me with a great financing deal. I would definitely use them again! They also have a great selection of newer cars.
