I recently purchased a Miele Dishwasher from BAC. I have had success in the past purchasing a Viking refrigerator but this time BAC receives an F rating. Let me explain why. On 3/15/13, my new dishwasher arrived. The installer John was great but the dishwasher door was damaged in two places on the front panel and side panel. When I called BAC for help , I got major attitude from salesman Ty Touslee who stated I was inpatient in refusing to leave a message instead opting to leave a message. He could not care about me as a customer and then proceeded to hang up on me when I demanded I receive a new non damaged dishwasher by the next Monday. He was rude, condescending, and totally non professional. People like Ty should not be working in a custom service profession. Kevin from BAC was more diplomatic and willing to help resolve the problem. Monday arrives and my new dishwasher is ready to be installed. The installer John starts the installation and then I notice they sent the wrong model dishwasher (Model# G5105U ) versus the one I should have gotten ,G5105SCSS . I would think that BAC would cross check in the wearhouse the customer quotation order before sending out orders to customers. A simple task. Poor attention to detail in my opinion. I guess I will wait and see if the third time is the charm. A reputable business would offer some sort of compensation for all the time lost and aggravation I have faced with this purchase. No. To date I give BAC a solid F for this purchase. You would think that a so called high end appliance store would have exemplary customer service. Unfortunately, not in this case. I will be very hesitant to purchase anything from BAC in the future.

Terrible at every point of interaction. 1) I came into the store and knew what I wanted. I got a sales reps card to call after I confirmed a few things online. I called her trying to buy a washer/dryer set. I was willing to let her get the commission despite not really doing a thing to make the sale. She never called me back. 2) I was able to make the purchase through a different sales rep after calling several times over the next couple days. 3) When the installers came to deliver it, they were never told to bring the stacking kit that I bought. I checked the installers work order, and the kit was in fact left off--but on my receipt. They had to come back later in the day with the kit to get the installation done. Because of this, I ended up having to wait at my house all day (and after normal hours) for a washer/dryer installation. 4) They crossed the hot and cold water hoses, so significant damage was done to my clothes and bedding before discovering the issue. Well over $1000 worth of brand new, high-end bedding and clothing were damaged or completely destroyed before the error was discovered. All in all, there is a complete breakdown in competence. They made it difficult to buy their product. They made me sacrifice an entire day to get it installed. They installed their product wrong. They damaged and destroyed my property. Only a terrible operation could make the actual washer/dryer be only half the cost of buying it.

So I needed about 40k in Viking kitchen appliances so I decided to look at the local stores and get multiple bids, as opposed to simply going on line and ordering it myself online for 50% off. So I went and got multiple shops that carried Viking in town and told the sales people that I wanted competitive bids. So after the first round of bids, I contacted Bruce at BAC and said can you meet or beat the price of 28K, because his bid came back at 38K. So instead of saying sure I can meet it or beat it, this guy called Viking and complained that the other store was not selling at monopoly pricing. BAC is nothing but a big “fat cat” company that are running a 100% markup and instead of promoting informed customers who will return to their outlet for service, repeat business, and prove the point that service and completive pricing is a better model. They incentive people to simply go online buy it cheaper and shut down their entire model. BAC is part of the "old world" of setting up a monopoly and forcing customers to pay twice as much just so they can line their pockets. And the moment you get an honest price, they complain and wine. Honestly, these people remind me of Detroit union workers who get paid $150k a year and work 10 hours a week for putting on a tail light, and the moment you confront them with modern economics they cry and go on strike.

Sept 10, 2009 Salesman at BAC in Fort Collins are very friendly and helpful when purchasing dishwasher 18 Aug for 27 Aug delivery. However, when they did not receive the dishwasher I ordered and could not tell me when I could expect to receive it, I asked for 1/2 my full payment back until we could get a fixed delivery date--but claimed that their "accounting department" would not do that. After I agreed to pay an addtional shipping cost they said they would have it for me in a week. One week later their contract delivery person arrived with the wrong model. I refused delivery. After this second failed attempt, I called and asked for a refund. Again they said their "accounting depart" would not let them credit my account until they had the dishwasher back in their warehouse in Denver--even though it was in their installers possesion. One week later, I am still waiting for a refund to my credit card. After numerous attmepts to get the correct dishwasher in a timely manner. I gave up and now I cannot even get a refund. So I guess I need to contact the "Accounting Department". As the Vice President (Brian C.) said "it is their reality". I just wish they were not making it mine.

My husband and I decided to Remodel our kitchen a year ago. Along with that process comes all new appliances. We started looking at the big box stores and really disliked the entire experience. I found BAC Appliance when I did some Google Searches and saw their ad - "Shop where builders Buy". It was strong enough to get me into their store back in June of this year and we were totally blown away by the showroom and the selection. This Showroom is amazing!! I also loved my sales Rep Rebecca. Rebecca was so much more knowledgeable than any of the other big chains. When we finally had our final plans done for our Kitchen Remodel Rebecca helped us finalize our appliances. We bought a Stove, Fridge, Dishwasher and Microwave. Rebecca even met with our fabricator to make sure the counter tops fit perfectly with our new stove. Our appliances are amazing - they are perfect. Our Kitchen looks incredible. I would never buy any Appliance anywhere else again. Thank you BAC and Thank you Rebecca!! Could not have gone any smoother - oh last thing I did not have to coordinate one thing Rebecca worked with my Kitchen Remodeling firm and coordinated everything. Great job!!

At first things were wonderful until we went to get the actual items we ordered to get into our new home. When they delivered the refrigerator they did damage to the home (they did fix it). However, we had to point it our to them! Then he washer and dryer we order all of a sudden wasnt available when we ordered it 6 months prior! We had to get a different one (this was an act of congress). Still not sure we got an equal trade!! Now we have a wine fridge in a basement bar that we paid for several weeks ago that hasnt worked since we set foot in this house. We are being given the run around. I have been hung up on by Jenifer, not been returned calls or texts by James!! I guess they think I shouldnt be upset!!! Really!! I now am being told by the repairman that came out for the second time that they wanted him to try something else before he was allowed to order parts!!! Give me a wine fridge that works and you work on this one in your own spare time!!! I paid for a product I have yet to receive!!! And no one will make it right!!!!!
