We just moved to Henderson from NY. It was cheaper to buy new furniture than to move ours across the country. After seeing a lot of poorly made stuff in the discount stores, we were enthralled by the inventory at RC Willey. The expansive show room is stunning and the merchandise is beautiful. My issue with the store is how the sales staff hovered over us during our visits. My family and I have been in 4 times to pick out a number of things for our new place and each time a different sales person approached us upon entering the store. After explaining our intentions (we werent buying yet and wanted time to explore the entire place), the end result was the same. Every time, without fail, the sales person stalked us throughout the store. It made us very uncomfortable. My family and I had several private discussions about our tastes, our concerns, etc. and each time the sale staff were close enough to listen in and in some cases, actually chime in! Not appropriate and certainly not professional. I understand these folks need to earn a living and dont want to lose a potential sale. I get that. We explained that we if we had questions, wed look for them, but that appeared to fall on deaf ears. 4 pairs of deaf ears. The last time we were in (about a week ago), we bought a framed image which was marked down from $70 to $50. The ever-lurking sales person took the item for us and brought it to the front of the store while we continued to shop. When we checked out, the woman who rang up our order in the back of the store said the saleswoman handed her the price tag from the item–for $70. The tag with the sale price was nowhere in sight. This seemed odd to say the least, since I discussed the discounted price with the sales person before we decided to buy it. I wont impugn anyones motives, but it simply doesnt make sense that the tag with the discounted price goes missing (it wasnt on the item when we picked it up). The woman at checkout sorted it out for us and charged us the sale price. I filled in a complaint form detailing the experience and how the stalker-style tactics of their sales staff made us feel. Im still waiting for a response. Wed love to make some larger purchases at RC Willey. We just dont like the feeling of being surveilled every time we come in.

18 months ago I purchased a Sharp 70" flat screen tv for $3500.00 and an extended warranty for $550.00. The tv went black and I called RCWilley. They sent out repair company that they use and they deemed the tv was bad. Waited several days called RC Willey once again, the warranty dept. and they had no record of the tv being reported BO from the repair company. Waited another day and called once again and still nothing from the repair company, however, this time the person in the warranty department called the repair company and got the report that the tv was bad. With that background, here is where the fun begins, working with the warranty department. I was told that the 18 month old Sharp tv could not be repaired and that because I had purchased the extended warranty that I would receive a "comparable tv" as a replacement. I told them I dont want a comparable tv and would like a full refund. The agent said they dont give refunds and would call me back with they tv brand and type. Got the call and it was a Sharp TV again and has the same functions as the one I originally purchased in May of 2013. I said I dont want that TV because I have been hearing of others having problems with Sharp TVs. She made it very clear that this was the one that I would get period and that if I wanted I could get a store credit of $2000.00. The other additional great thing was that I loose my warranty. So, bottom line, I get a same brand similar TV worth $2,000.00 and no warranty after paying $3500.00 plus $550.00 only 18 months ago. I wont even go into the amplifier issue that I was told by rcwilley that was between me and the manufacturer, not their concern. While I realize TV prices have dropped, I feel duped. At least I should have been given the balance of my warranty. Oh well, I wont shop there anymore, and I have spent tons of $s with them.

Worst experience at a furniture store in my life. Wait for a mattress to be ordered. Go to pick it up and wait 30 minutes just to get it out in my car. Get home to take it out of the plastic and find that the box spring bottom is all torn and not stapled. The corner plastic piece is bent and broken. Stitches are coming out of the mattress looking like it is about to tear. Call the store and asked for a manager sat on hold for 25 minutes. Hung up and called back and they said they had no Manager on duty except an appliance manager that cant help me and call back the next day. They cant get me a new mattress for 4 days. I had already thrown out my sons other bed so now he has nowhere to sleep for 4 days!!!!! Got told to call back the next day to talk to a store manager. I will be calling to talk to them and update this at that time. **update** Called in and asked for store manager. Got the furniture manager who told me he couldnt deliver a new bed until Monday because the truck was already loaded Saturday Morning. Called back asked again for store manager. Was told by the girl answering the phone that the store manager wasnt in and they didnt know when he would be. Got put to his voicemail. Left a message and within 5 minutes got a call from the store manager saying he had been there all morning and wasnt sure why they would say that. He said the truck in fact had not been loaded and they would get me a new one on Saturday. They did bring a new set which indeed was in much better condition. However I am not changing my review because I am appalled at how many people from that company lied to me and how much I had to go through just to get a mattress that I paid for that wasnt torn ripped and broken. Will not be going back and my family who has spent thousands with them will be going elsewhere from here on out.

I had bought a few bigger purchases from Rc Willey without any issues in the past. Recently I bought a mattress set, not cheap, about 2 months after my purchase I noticed a big divot a side of the bed that felt like a 300 pound man had been sleeping in the same spot for ten years. So i called RC Willey and told them how this was affecting my sleep and actually hurting my back. They said they would have someone out to check my mattress they gave me a rough date and said they would be calling me with the exact time someone would be by. I got the call and a person came over and took some measurements i kept trying to get the person to lie down a see for themselves how bad it was but i was reassured the measurements would show the same results. The person told me to call RC Willey by Tuesday 2/17/2015 if i had not received a call back from them . So I called this morning as im growing very tired of the horrible sleep and the back pain that the mattress is causing, Talking to a customer service rep was almost just as frustrating as my mattress divot as she told me their are notes but just wait for a letter they are sending me, I explained that every day I have to wait is another day i wake up with a sore back and lack of a decent night of sleep and asked if she could just tell me what i need to do next to replace this one. Wait for the letter is all i was able to get out of her. All i want is a good nights rest and I paid more than I have ever spent on a mattress for this reason. It is clearly not supposed to be like this after only a couple of months. Everyone has told me this but im still sleeping on the same mattress. I think we may have to shut down our account and find a new store.
