Father and son business with great customer service and quality work. They dont just sell used appliances, they clean them, refurbish, and make sure they are in good working condition. I was hesitant to buy a washer/dryer off Craigslist, and many of the other local used appliance stores have horror stories in their reviews. I found Used Appliance Store on Yelp, and after reading so many good reviews, I figured I would give it a shot. Im very glad I found them. Both Kenneth and his son are super helpful, honest, and fair. They didnt have exactly what I was looking for when I came into the shop, but they get new machines all the time, so I called back a couple of times until they found something that was in my price range and also had the features I wanted. The washer was pretty grimey when I went to check it out, but three days later they delivered machines that looked as good as new. Kenneth installed the machines himself and was careful to give me detailed instructions on how to keep them in good shape. He really cares about his business and being at the service of his customers and it shows. You can trust they are going to do a good job and are pleasant to work with. If you arent looking to buy new, I would highly recommend you give them a visit.

I didnt like anything. I made a appt to have my dryer fixed on 3/24/15 w Kenneths son to fix my dryer I had for only 11 days before it started blaring the buzzer when cycle done & wouldnt stop or when I opened door & close door to stop buzzer the dryer than would keep running. They said they would come on 3/28/15 between 10a to 12. I conf w them on 3/27. They blew me off on my appt day w no concern for my precious time or loss of wages. I had to call Kenneth on that day at 1 pm & he had no respect for my time or just flat ignoring me. He said they needed to order a timer & it would be in on Tue3/31 & you readers got it! No follow up call from them & its Fri 4/3. This place is a sham/rip off. Read the fine print of their 90 day warranty. If they dont deliver products they also charge $45 to come & repair. This was my 2nd time doing bus w them & by the way they delivered my first set & after 2 days my washer over flowed due some wire dislodged in face of washer from them moving it. Buy either new or just pay no more than $100 for each piece. Oh & when I asked Kenneth to give half off on dryer since he caused me loss wages from waiting for them, he said he would buy both pieces back. Like that is a answer after I moved .Well I am waiting!!!!

My husband and I were shopping for a used washer and dryer, we visited several stores and we were not very impressed until we found the Used Appliance Store in Irving. When we entered this store and looked at the washer and dryer sets, I first thought that they were all new sets! We were greeted by Kenneth, I had many questions which he answered without hesitation, he asked a few questions and then showed us three or four washer and dryer sets that would meet our needs. He explained all the features and how these machines work, he took us back in the shop where he showed us a washer and dryer that they were checking, cleaning and preparing for sale. I have never seen the inside of a washer or dryer and I was very impressed as he explained some tips on how to care and maintain these appliances without much effort. We purchased a very nice set and had it delivered the same day. This store is not very big but the quality and the pride that is put into these appliances is enormous! I am very glad that we found this place and I highly recommend you to visit the Used Appliance Store and decide for yourself!

After reading horror story reviews about appliance rental places in Dallas, I chose to bite the financial bullet and buy a washer and dryer for my apartment. Kenneth was astoundingly helpful and knowledgeable, assuaging my concerns about buying used. He set me up with a phenomenal used washer/dryer set at a great price, refurbished and cleaned it inside and out, provided a 4-year warrantee option, and delivered and installed it all for way less than a new set. When we move in a year, Ill most likely be able to sell it for what I paid or more! Please, do yourself a favor before dealing with nightmare appliance rental places who run a hard check on your credit. Go to Irving and see Kenneth!

OUTSTANDING!! The owner asked how he could help me and I told him I needed to buy a refurbed washing machine. He asked me why and I told him our old one had finally quit working after 23 years. I described the problem to him and he told me I didnt need to replace the washer and he then took us to a similar washer, showed us how to take it apart, explained what the problem was, showed us how to repair it and then sold us the part to fix it for $19!!! We went home, did as he directed and were washing clothes again in no time!! Honesty, integrity and knowledge.....this place has it all!

This guy The owner is very dishonest he sold me a refrigerator for $1200 and said to my wife the item is been used as display ONLY " that mean is like new" is cheep only for the FRONT DENTS so we agreed,we used for 4 months and some day stop working! We call him he come an told me he may have to take the item to a tech to repair he charge me $530 dollar to get fix, and guess what three days later the item stop working! He only advised me,,,you better sale it as is!! This guy is dishonest dont trust him, he buy items and repair with cheep parts!!!

Kenneth is an outstanding resource that has helped us tremendously. We called around looking for a good deal on a new washer and dryer set for a needy family we adopted for the holidays. Kenneth went above and beyond and donated the set for our family, completely free of charge! Before handing them over, he meticulously looked over both units and replaced the needed parts. I bought my refurbished set about 4 yrs ago and still have it today. True it is not a fancy store, and the appliances look rough in the back; hello ... they are refurbishing them on site. I personally liked walking through the bone yard (lol) and picking the exact unit I would be receiving; instead of not knowing what was coming from some warehouse. The set arrived nice and clean and has worked wonderfully since with minor maintenance (come on people, belts wear out). Will shop here again.

Buying my washer, dryer, stove, and microwave was such a pleasant experience 03/2014. Kenneth was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with exactly what I needed. My dryer went out this past year, I called and explained the symptoms, he advised me to two possibilities, I checked, and called back joyously that he was correct and had the part on hand. The door switch was cheap and I replaced it myself. I highly recommend this store for great products and customer service.
