Came out to fix moms refrigerator. The freezer was not very cold. Claims to have replaced two parts, set the freezer and fridge dials, and said not to touch the dials. He claimed that is was fixed. Two days later the freezer was at 32 degrees. It is supposed to be between 0 and 5 degrees. Ice Cream melted and everything. He came back a few days later, readjusted the freezer and fridge dials and said its working fine. And he yelled not to touch the dials. Its fine. But... Freezer was still running too warm. We figured that if you tap hard on it the cold would come on. But, then the freezer got to negative 15 degrees. So, we tapped hard on it again to turn the cold off. For a week, we had to tap it on and tap it off. How can anyone say that is normal and its running fine? Someone else came out and said it needed a new cold control. He diagnosed it right away. So, he ordered the part and installed it. It took a week for the part. But, at least it is fixed now. This new guy said it did not look like anything had been replaced. So, what did Kingman Appliance do exactly? Not really sure. But he didnt fix the problem. They charged over $200, and its still not working. And, he would not research it any further to find out why it still wasnt working. He stood by his claim that is was working fine, when it clearly wasnt. Stay away from this company unless you want to waste your money and get yelled at. The owners response is hateful and highly unprofessional. My mom was not on psychological drugs. I was there on the first visit. My mom was recovering from hernia surgery. To imply she is mental and on psychological drugs is plain wrong. Instead of admitting he could not fix it, he actually BLAMES the customer. Asking for a refund as it appears he did not replace parts as stated. And he did not fix the refrigerator. He is rude about it too. BBB and small claims court because this business cant do the right thing. UPDATE: Mom won the small claims judgement for refund of service call and court fees.

I have a Whirlpool refrigerator/freezer that stopped getting cold. I had Chris Dement come out from Kingman Appliance, and he said it needed a control. He claims to have replaced the automatic defrost control and the heater coil. However, it never got cold and started working right. I had him come out again finally 11 days later, and he insisted it was working. He adjusted the dials, and said he had nothing else for me. He said to wait 24-48 hours for it to cool down. I had just waited 11 days, and he did nothing more than adjust a dial. What is another 24-48 hours going to do? And it was 41 degrees in the freezer. Obviously something was wrong. I ended up having the refrigerator repaired by Daves and Sons Appliance in Lake Havasu. It needed a cold control that had not been replaced. Not only did Kingman Appliance misdiagnose the problem, he did not appear to replace a thing. THE HEATER COIL WAS VERY OBVIOUSLY NOT REPLACED, AND THE DEFROST CONTROL HAD RUST THAT LOOKED LIKE FROM A FACTORY INSTALL. Stay away from Chris Dement and Kingman Appliance. He stated that it was obviously getting to 0 degrees in the freezer and it was working ok because I had ice being made by the ice maker. Seriously? An appliance repairman should know that ice freezes at 32 degrees, not 0 degrees. I just read the response by Chris Dement. I was not on any psychological drugs! He is an unprofessional businessman who does not stand by his work to try to make things right. He blames the customer as evidenced in his responses to other reviewers. Buyer beware. Maybe call Dave’s and Son’s Appliance in Lake Havasu instead. I just won a judgement in Small Claims court for a full refund of service call and refund of court fees.

I got a bundle deal for only $7OO.OO !!! I am so impressed by this fantastic family owned business!! They are such great Honest people ! And worked with me !!! ( unlike attwood , peenys , etc I called every place in town !!) They saved all my items until my pay day !! They where in excellet condition very clean and they work fabulous! I got a 3 door fridge pull out freezer on the bottom with French doors on top for the fridge A dish washer (Newest model ) I got a oven with glass door & Glass top All matching appliances stainless steel!!!!! A whirlpool washer and dryer glass top one of the new models all matching colors ! (Red) It looks so amazing in my brand new home I am so thankfull and in LOVE with all my Aapliances !!! I deffentily recommend them 11O.OO%!!!!! They seriously are the best appliance please in town I will never go to any other place ever !! And did I mention 2 year Warrenty! !! That I doubt I will ever need !!! -SIDE NOTE ! - there place of businesswas very clean and brand new feeling ! -Customer service - AMAZING ! SUCH GREAT PEOPLE !

I went to Kingman appliance, after talking with both Chris and James on the phone in regards to needing a refrigerator. I paid $265.00 for the refrigerator to include delivery and set up. Chris informed me that he could do me a favor since I work Monday - Friday and deliver it the next day which was a Sunday between 3: 00 and 5:00 and that he would call to inform me when he was on his way. I never heard from him so I called at 4:30 and left him a voice message. I waited at my new rental until 5:15. I received a text at 5:40 from Chris stating he was out of town until Wednesday. I tried calling James with no answer. So now they have $265.00 of my money and the refrigerator that they did not deliver as promised. I am not a very happy customer at this point. We shall see if I can get my refrigerator tomorrow that I have already paid for.

I want to thank Kingman Appliance Repair for doing a great job repairing my freezer. Chris was willing to come out at a moments notice and save a few hundred dollars of frozen food from ending up in the trash. He replaced the parts and everything has been working fine. He also gave me some pointers on how to prevent the problem from happening again. I highly recommend this company for any of your appliance repairs.

chris and joan are the worst appliance repair thieves . they are also slum loards ,liars,and just down right no good. complete ripoff artists be aware dont rent from them ,buy any appliances from them or never never have chris in your home or trust him to do any repsirs on appliances of any kind.

The worst appliance company ever! They came to hook up my washer and dryer and the moron flooded by brand new house and ruined the carpeting and drywall. Then he hooked up the hoses backwards! I have hot water on the cold cycle and vice versa!
