My scumbag builder hired Quality Appliance to come and scare me out of making them correct their defective installation of the microwave oven in my house (access to the light bulb and charcoal filter was blocked - so neither could be replaced - duh). Dustin came with the builder to look at the installation, and told me and a City Inspector that my new microwave would probably need replacing in five years (five years?), and unless I replaced it with the same exact Bosch model, that other brands with new/different dimensions would likely not fit in the spot if corrections were made to the current (defective) installation. He also told me that owners should not change the light bulbs in the microwave oven because it’s very dangerous (even though the owner’s manual includes instructions on how to change both the bulb and filter). He said he’d been in the business for 14 years and told me how an encounter he had with a microwave oven BLEW THE TIP OFF HIS FINGER!! He told me that the light bulb would probably last the life of the appliance, and if it did go out that I should call an authorized Bosch tech to have them change it. He also said that if owners change their own light bulbs it voids the Bosch warranty. I told him there’s no mention of that in the owner’s manual, and he said “trust me” it’s printed behind the vent grill (where, conveniently, it couldnt be seen because it’s blocked). I stood there in utter disbelief as I listened to a so-called certified Bosch service technician spew out a line of cockamamie scare tactics to advocate for keeping the defective installation the way it was, so his friend the builder wouldn’t have to fix it . . . in exchange for what I wonder? I didn’t believe a single word he said, so I phoned Bosch and spoke with Jonathan Brooks there, who told me that not one thing Dustin told the inspector and me was true. NOT ONE THING. And he wasn’t happy. The scumbag builder wanted Quality Appliance to masquerade as a "Bosch professional” and overstep the boundaries of the independent third-party repair service they provide Bosch, lie about the Bosch warranty, and otherwise try to scare me with tales of exploding fingers in order to talk me out of the fix – and Quality Appliance was more than happy to participate in the DESPICABLE PLOY.

Six weeks ago my washing machine broke, and Lowes made an appointment with these people to come do warranty work on it. A week went by while they ordered the parts - so far, normal. They came back with the parts, but didnt have the right tools. So we scheduled for the next day. Same story when they got here - didnt have the right tools. Another week passed, and I called Lowes and got a loaner washing machine. A-1 took the machine (borrowing a dolly from my friend and asking my neighbor to help load it in the truck), and had it three weeks. They brought it back (inconveniently, after work on weekday night though I was available for delivery during the day, because they said they wouldnt get paid until they brought my machine back.) Literally four loads later, the washing machine sounded like it was a coffee can full of screws being shaken by a three year old. I called Lowes again. They rescheduled with A-1, who had me waiting all morning, and never called and never showed up. I wont be doing business with them ever again.

Had an issue with ice maker. Technician came out and told us it need to be replaced for $337.00. We decided we could order much cheaper on-line (less than $50.00) but paid the service fee of $84.00. A few minutes after technician left my son fiddled around with the thing and found a lever had been frozen up so he basically jiggled it loose and water began flowing back into the device. Within a couple hours we had ice and the next day a full bin of ice for no cost whatsoever. What bothers us most is that the technician didnt even try to figure out what was wrong. He just told us we needed a whole new unit for $337. Have tried several times to contact manager or someone in charge and I have not gotten any response back nor even a phone call returned. This truly was a scam. Wonder how many other innocent people have been charged for overpriced unnecessary replacements.

Id give this company ZERO stars if I could. Jordan came to our home six times to fix our less-than-year-old refrigerator, and each time it did not work as promised. He was a no show on a confirmed appointment and also showed up without an appointment. Coincidentally, (or not!) our ice maker went out after he came, and when he came out again after the parts were supposed to be ordered, he claimed he wasnt aware it was broken. I phoned the office with Jordan on speaker phone and was told that this problem was "in the notes", to which Jordan replied he "didnt read the notes". I phoned in and asked to speak to the manager and was told he was busy. I asked for a call back and nothing. Thanks Billy! Id highly recommend going elsewhere for honesty, integrity, and professionalism.

So my washer broke on Sunday afternoon Im like wow I will be without a washer, probably for at least three or four days and we have many clothes to wash.. So I call A1 quality appliances (830am)on Monday, this nice lady answered the phone, she said do you have a warranty. I said yes. She said I will call you back they called (my wife) back and had an appointment by around 1230 that same day Ive never seen anything like that before in my life and our washer was up and running within the hour. Wow! Everybody was happy my wife I got a lot of points because I had a warranty and thanks to A1 and Quality Appliance. Im going to give kudos to A1 and Quality Appliance they are amazing. the best service I ever had. I will recommend them to all my friends. Lonnie Noble

We had a great experience with Quality Appliance. Our new 36" stainless freezer was delivered with a dent in the door. Quality Appliance got us a new door under warranty and replaced it. They were polite with great communication and quick response time. Thank you!
