Worst customer service ever. We spend a lot of money in Petsmart - but dont usually go to this shop. Rude nasty employees Hunter and Cameron. Purchased an 40.00 aquarium filter off the shelf. Got home to find that the box had been pilfered - missing the included filter pad. It was the only one my son saw on the shelf that fit his aquarium. Got home 45 minutes away to find this out. I called to explain and from minute one was treated like I was making this up. He said "Well if you have too, you can bring it back and we can decide if this is true" Seriously?! We drive 45 minutes back to the store. No one at the register. Hunter appears. Looks through the box and says "this looks fine" I explain and show him that the pad is missing. He calls on his radio to "Cameron" and says: "this lady is telling me theres no filterpad in the box" He then tells us "you can take this back there and see what he says" Cameron proceeds to help two other customers while we wait. Then says "what do you need?" I explain from the start AGAIN. He proceeds to look through the box, then opens a 6 pack of filter pads and hands it to me without a word. My son is humiliated. Cameron is now holding a new box with the same filter which is un-opened. I ask if I can please just exchange the unopened one for the one I returned - I have no idea what else is missing from the box. He acted like I was asking for something free. He said why? I said "because I just spent 43. plus dollars for a new complete aquarium filter which I did NOT get. and that is what I would like to buy. It almost killed them to let me exchange it. Review the films - guys and see if I am making this up They clearly need more training.

I bought a fish (algae water) from petco a week and a half ago and it ended up having really bad ick. I treated my whole tank with I aquarium salt that I purchased there and I turned the tank up to 82 degrees as directed by the people that worked there, after I told them the fish infected my perfect tank. The new fish and my betta fish continued to get worse, so I went back to the store and told them again that my fish were still sick and getting worse. So they told me to try a ick medicine. I purchased some ick medicine as directed. After treating my fish for six of the ten day course, my betta fish was dead this morning. I am incredibly disappointed considering the whole reason I bought a ten gallon fish tank and the algae eater was to help keep the tank cleaner for my betta fish that I loved so he could have more space after being stuck in a tiny cup at petco his whole life. I wouldnt recommend anyone buying fish or live plants from petco unless you want to risk spending a whole ton of money and time trying to save the other fish in your tank. Its not worth it trust me, I spent about $20 on treatment and cleaned with a siphon (another product I purchased there) a third of my tank every day as directed. I did everything possible and as directed. Petco isnt a safe place to purchase pet fish.

So, I have been taking my dog here to get bathed for nearly a year. Ive never taken him anywhere else, because hes shy and I dont trust anyone with him. Well, I got him bathed here over the weekend and they cut his nails so short they bled. I was initially "okay" with this, as he has really thick, dark nails, and the gentleman bathing him seemed new. I told myself Id just make a point of telling them to be very gentle in the future, since he has hard to trim nails. After I dropped my dog off at home and went to work, I got a call asking me to make sure they didnt leave cotton balls in my dogs ears. Well, 8 hours later I got home and checked, they werent there thankfully. This experience has made me lose the trust I had in the Petco groomers, and I will likely not take my dog to get bathed anywhere, ever again. Looks like Ill be buying a tub...

Great place for supplies, but they do not have many animals to choose from. Very basic animals, the usual, some reptiles, birds and a couple of mammals. Update: Considering they do not carry many pets, they do have Excellent customer service. I recently picked up on aquascaping and they have been very helping with tips, equipment, and fish. They have a 30 day guarantee on they fish and inverts. If you are looking for aquascaping and fish keeping I highly recommend talking to Michelle and Chris.

Excellent service and grooming salon! I love taking my puppies to get trimmed up and spritzed down. And I primarily stock my 4 fish tanks with fish from here, because they have good prices and have a month guarantee. I just dont like that they always have kittens, because I want them and my daughter wont leave them alone.

This review is based on the F.ID.O tag making machine at the store. It will do 4 lines of text, but only something like 15 characters per line. I could not fit my name, address, and phone number on the tag. And it was more expensive than the TagWorks at PetSmart that did fit all my information.

I came here to get a heater for my betta and checked out the ones here because I am going to purchase more... and they were all SICK and one was DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Otherwise, the customer service is good, and I got what I wanted.

Possibly the best attribute is Petcos long hours. They do also have a wide variety of items on the shelves, plus a very helpful staff who will go in search of things that should be on the shelves. Max in particular is the best!

This the class for training your dog. It is inside the actually store. Its no on the side. I do believe they have information posted on the store about the classes. I have seen them before and they are very informative.

I love this pet shop! They catered to all my needs as a dog owner. The products that they sell are of high qualities. Their suppliers are all legit. So you will not worry whether youre giving the best to your dog pals.

I take my dog exclusively to this groomer - I always ask for BRIAN because he is very friendly and calm. He does a great job and my dog likes him (she usually gets very anxious with groomers).
