Pet adoption at Pet Smart was a not such a pleasant ordeal. My Aunt was looking for a dog to adopt. Pet Connection is the agency the adoption would go through. A women asked what my Aunt was looking for in a dog. She replied a inside/outside and trained dog. The women replied our dogs never go outside so we will not show you any dogs. The women were rude when my aunt was trying to tell them what she meant by inside and outside dog. We left and called to speak with Manny at Pet Smart who was very helpful. He spoke with sheryle and Sue from Pet Connection they proceeded to tell him their criteria is the person should have a doggie door which means they can go outside, but remember their dogs never go out. We were never told abpout a doggie door.The women lied to Manny. Maybe Pet Smart needs to screen Pet Connection. These dogs have no chance with pet connection if these women are screening potential people to adopt a animal and are so rude. Thank you Manny for taking the time to listen and try to work things out.

I dropped my two dogs off for a three night stay, and left a blanket for each one to sleep on, a toy for each and a cover blanket for each. Also, I brought biscuits for bedtime, all of which was scrupulously notated by the desk clerk. When I picked my dogs up, the bag was returned to me pretty much exactly as Id left it. They never even unpacked it. Im so upset about this, I trusted them to take good care of my dogs and they didnt even do something as simple as laying a blanket down and giving them a toy. It makes me wonder what else they might have done (or didnt do) that I dont know about.

I love PetsMart. I love the prices way better than Petco. I love the cleanliness of the store. I love how big it is & how much of a variety there is to purchase items for my little puppy. I have used the vets there who are very helpful. The staff is friendly & welcoming. I am yet to use the daycare, pet hotel, & grooming services. I love shopping here for my puppys need because there are very few stores in which I can take my puppy into. This totally breaks my heart. I definitely recommend this place to those who loves their dogs.

Theyve got Blue Buffalo cat food at a lower price than everywhere else I can seem to find. And they sell Greenies for cats (my cats are addicted to Greenies) and typically have decent prices and sales on litter (42-lb bag of Fresh Step for my four). Open til 9 most of the time. I just wish there was a Petsmart closer to La Mirada! Staff always has been friendly. Never had a bad experience here and I shop here a few times a month. My cats, if they had logical brains and smartphones and opposable thumbs, would rate this two thumbs up.

Last night I rushed my Orange Tabbie to Banfield at the Whittier PetSmart. Dr. Williams and her team did everything they could to save his little life. We had to take him to the Animal ER and Dr. Williams went too. Our cat didnt make it but the family at our local PetSmart came through. People were praying for our cat (customers and staff alike) and showering us with concern. That is my favorite store to go to and now I really know why.

Today i just went to take a look around and they had some baby leopard geckos that were severely underweight. Skeletal to be exact. The tails were as thin as a noodle which they shouldnt be.They are sick and the workers are well aware of it. They have no knowledge of these reptiles and it makes me furious .

I went in grooming and got my jack russell a puppy bath and nails trimmed and also a puppy teeth and spray and when i went to go pick her up she was so cute and beautiful they did a good job i would recommend this place to anybody i know and yes i would come back again

So much better than Petco. Banfield in house vet is overpriced garbage. Grooming service is really good at this location. Pet hotel is due to have cameras so you can monitor your animal after you leave them. Great product selection and clean.

I like PetSmart, but recently they have had an ant in food issue which needs to be addressed. Unfortunately, we didnt realize the food was infested until we returned from a trip to find our cat food teeming with them. No previous issues.

Great selection and staff. I was having a challenge finding a good fitting dog harness that he could not back him out of. They tried a bunch on and were great with him being a spaz. i always find what I need.
