The worst pet shop ever...completely wasted my time. I saw an adoption event online so I decided to travel an hour to visit. I went up to one of the workers who said that one of the shepards was adoptable. She went to talk to her manager who completely treated us with disrespect. We told her where we lived and she interrupted us in an insulting tone. She told us that the dog was adopted and that all of the other dogs were adopted. If I wanted to adopt an dog I should go to a shelter. She lied to us and we didnt even do anything. All we mentioned was where we lived and she told us to leave. We drove home an went online to check if the shepard was still adoptable, and of course, if was still adoptable. Avoid this store, especially the manager. I am really disappointed since I really wanted to give a dog a place to call home.

Waited 15 minutes for service while staff made two announcements on PA system asking someone to come to the back of the store to help me. Finally went up front and asked a cash register attendant to help me. She did sort of. When I asked her questions like, "Are batteries included?", she said yes rather than saying, "I dont know." So I unsealed a package and found batteries were not included. I wound up buying my product elsewhere for about $5 less than that stores price. I found the staff in the Buena Park store absolutely unmotivated. I have owned a retail business and if one of my employees treated a customer the way I was treated, I would fire that employee on the spot.

Nice store... Staff changes to often to get even a decent level of respect The grooming service should be criminal I would like to see a single employee go thru the standard 3 to 4 hour process!! Even tried to express how i felt to management I was beat down with policies Again. Only looking for reasons why they cant help or accomadate Never looking for a yes Shame on petsmarts Being a loyal customer gets u no where This is my second complaint about grooming The first they never took serious I will be ordering my products online from now one Shame on petsmart

Terrible experience, - Buena Park Store - Just picked up two different bags of dog food and they were infested with maggots. One bag was a Simply Nourish Lamb Pee Recipe and the other was a Simply Nourish Grain Free Chicken and Turkey. Both bags were sealed and they were not expired – Not an isolated issue as these bags came from two different store areas. Again, both bags were infested with white and brown maggots. OPEN THE BAGS AND CHECK THEM BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE. The store will not be responsible for any damages.

Amazing experience came here to buy a guinei pig for my little bro and i didnt now anything about guinei pigs in fact it was my first time buying a pet the girl that helped us out thats in charge of the small animal section i forgot her name she wears glases though was extremely nice and patient she answered all our questions and even helped us out chosing some guinei pig supplies i just wish there were more people like her in other stores thanks petsmart

Pet grooming, Horrible time keeping expect your dog to be there all day! they promised my dog to be ready in 4 1/2 hours, try 5-6 hours ! never on time and never again. The last time it happened I dropped my dog at 11 AM still not done at 3:30 pm they still needed 40 to 45 minutes! this happened twice. and I did not pay! Since Jeanie Cho left them the place has gone down hill! If you want your dog in a cage all day then go to them! not me.

I had previously called to see if they had any red eared slider turtles and they said yes so I drove down here and when I got here I asked a lady named Alexandra if she could show me the turtles and shes said "no we dont have any " with such attitude so I walked away and went to another lady and she helped me and took me to the turtles. Very disappointed with Alexandras service

Seems like their grooming tactics have changed. They need to give an exact break down on their addons, otherwise it will be higher then what you would think. Always has new groomers. One had even put a muzzle on my small yorkiepoo,which shouldnt have been done because it restricts the breeds breathing. No supreme why they have been in the news lately of mistreating pets.

Very nice store with lots of choices fir your pet.. A lot of people using the dog grooming services. Sundays you can buy a dog from shelter. They have 14 day satisfaction return policy on pets (check woth store clerk to see if that applies to pet you chose). I really like to visit pet stores, how about you?

After a very long wait the doctor misdiagnosed our dog. She said she thought his skin was irritated due to pain caused by hip dysplasia. She suggested increasing his pain meds. A week later another vet diagnosed our dogs skin problem as a yeast infection then treated our dog with the correct medication.

PetSmart is already a great store especially because pets are welcomed inside. However, this Buena Park location has really great customer service. Everyone is super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their products. I enjoy every trip I make to this PetSmart.

Terrible service at grooming. Stay away from both Lori and her manager. If you really intend to get your pet groomed here select someone else. Or look elsewhere, I sure did and received excellent service at another local private owned grooming facility.

Needed to find specific lighting for my tank and was helped, after I could not figure out the new fangle codes for sizes etc. , by one educated and friendly clerk . In just minutes, she had me checked out and on my way, so cool!!!

I got 2 new snails for my fish tank the fish lady was super helpful. When I went to pay the cashier took 5 mins to walk over after seeing I was standing there. He was very rude after he walked over like I was inconveniencing him.

I had to deal with Judy who was of no help...All I wanted to do was talk to the vet on call and she gave me the wrong number and then I was not allowed to speak with the vet...Go anywhere else if you care for your pet!

They generally have a great selection of pet supplies here but its hard to find employees to help you quite often. When you can find an employee to help you they are very friendly and helpful.
