My husband and I were in the market for a new desk for our home office. We stopped in at the Vacaville location. We needed something simple and practical yet durable. This was the best part. Procuring was the worst part. The sales staff were somewhat helpful. Laura was the initial sales person we encountered who then passed us off to Jason. This made our buying experience less than exceptional. When I came to pick up the furniture. The wrong desk was ordered. This was after we identified and pointed out exactly what we wanted. It got worse! Jason & Laura were off that day of pick up. The sales person on duty had no idea what was going. My husband & I were trying to work with a new salesperson to rectify the situation. She was asking for help from the warehouse personnel to identify sku numbers. This process was a mess and confusing because the person didnt properly write up the order to begin with. A re-write of the order required a managers approval. This was a task all together, because there was no manager on-site. Then he had the audacity to imply it was our fault that this was an inconvenience. If it werent for our lack of time & effort; by this time, we would have voided the whole order entirely.

The customer service was about the worst I have seen. I purchased the Atlantic bed which cost approximately $1200 in Nov 2009. When it arrived in July 2010, one of the pieces had a defect that looked like a brand in the leather. When contacting the Vacaville store to find out about getting a replacement they tried telling me this was "normal" and "how it should look". Then when they finally realized it was a defect they tried downplaying how minor the imperfection was. IM SORRY, I THOUGHT I WAS PURCHASING A NEW BED?!!? It is now June 2011 and I still have not had my issue resolved from a bed I bought from Nov 2009 =( My advice would be to check the product you purchase from them once it arrives, and if it has any damage or imperfections, send it back with the crew that delivered it. If you keep it they will keep your money and delay the process, probably hoping you forget about the problem. They have nice furniture, but watch out for yourself when dealing with the personnel in the Vacaville store.

As I sit on a somewhat comfortable gray modern style couch I must say I like this store. Its currently under construction so their inventory is lacking a bit but they have a good selection. Better than the other chain furniture stores in the area (Ashley, department stores) but thats not saying much since the Vacaville/Fairfield area lacks in a lot of good stores to begin with. Prices are ok but they are just a couple steps up from IKEA. With that, you can still find the occasional gem here and fill your living room with good pieces. Service is just like any furniture store ya know employees trying to be nice in return for a decent commission. All in all, if youre in the area looking for furniture you should stop by.

Recently re-opened with a remodeled showroom, the showroom had some very nice models of furniture sets..and there was more arriving in a few weeks.

Good spot for middle priced furniture. High end IKEA.
