I have severe arthritis in my hips and have to use a cane to walk and stand though it is still painful. I have a disabled parking permit and use it when shopping because it shortens the time I am on my feet. I went to Michaels on Christmas Eve to pick up a few last minute gifts and stood behind a person checking out at Register 1 (for the disabled!). When the clerk was finished with the transaction, he closed the register and told me I have to go to the back of the line. I stood behind the person checking out at the next register and was told that was not the line, and I would have to wait for the next register where the line forms and he pointed to the other end of the registers. I told him there was no one in the line and that I WAS the next customer. He didnt believe me and had to go look for himself. It made me angry, he could see I had a cane and could not walk very well, but insisted I walk all the way to the beginning of the imaginary line. I let it go, I didnt want to be mad on Christmas. Today I went to Michaels, even though I was in more pain than usual, and walked to the very back of the store where the yarn is. The yarn I wanted was obstructed by a huge rolling ladder that I was not able to move so I had to fish it out with my trusty cane. I walked up to the front of the store to Register 1 (for the disabled) and stood behind the person checking out. There was no one in the line that I was "shown" on Christmas. An employee approached me and told me that I had to "get in line" and pointed to a new location where there were now several customers waiting where there was only one person when I walked up. Again they see me standing with a cane at the register for the disabled and want me to walk to (for me) a distant location and stand and wait (for me, a painful eternity). These insensitive "line monitors" are the reason I will never shop at Michaels again. Are the "disabled registers" only for wheelchairs? People in wheelchairs can at least sit down while they wait.

I got the right product paint that I needed to patch up scuffs and. Paint rubs on m model horse. I am confident that it will do better justice then the acolic paint I was using before. Great service and helpfulness from everyone.

Great store. Well organized and clean not to mention filled with fabulous stuff! Love their coupons. If you dont have one, do an internet search for "Michaels coupons" and you will most likely find one to print and use.

Nice people, good selection, they accept competetors coupons. Just stay away from the framing department unless you like waiting 20 minutes to be berated by the framing guy. I think his name tag read, "Apathetic."

Employees lack common knowledge of products, items usually are in displayed in the wrong spot & common sense among staff is nonexistent. I finally gave up on that store as a loss cause. Good luck
