This is a super convenient location! Ive come here to get keys made, pick up plastic bags, and more. Its not just geared towards the offices that surround it (even though there is almost everything an office manager or facilities person may need). They have gardening supplies, paint, drill bits, bulk screws, tupperware, light bulbs, and more! Ill admit that sometimes getting keys made can take a little wait. I had to wait about 20 minutes to get my key made since there was a pretty long queue, but I just browsed and took a mental note of everything there so I could direct others to their location if they needed something. The staff is also very friendly and always willing to help out.

Best Customer Service I have experienced in a while! I had been looking for a specific cart that I needed, forever, but turns out they were a seasonal item. I found they had one on the Ace website and I called in to this location on Tuesday and Maria said she could get it into their store by Friday morning. She even called me this morning to let me know they had it in stock. I went in, it was right there at the front desk, paid, and I was on my way :D

I was very surprised to find a hardware store in the financial district but Ive been even more surprised by the great service. There are two women who run the show and they are great. I go poke around on my lunch hour and they always are very helpful. Today they were out of individual 5mm allen wrenches so they opened up a full set and sold me the individual wrench!

Great local hardware store! They have what you need and advice on how to get it done. They were OPEN immediately after Hurricane Sandy to provide the neighborhood with essential tools while we were still in darkness without heat and water. THAT, in a nutshell, is the advantage of supporting your local independent business in Gramercy

I was surprised to find a legitimate hardware store in the middle of the financial district! They had what I was looking for when I visited - a key making machine. For larger hardware store needs I would still recommend venturing to a suburban hardware store because overall selection seems limited.

Im always impressed by how helpful the staff is at this Ace Hardware. They go out of their way to get you what you need and figure out the best thing for whatever project youre doing. Theyre great.
