Grumpy, mostly uninterested service and one of them cant cut keys worth a damn. Hard to find stuff, but they almost never take you to it....just tell you where to look for it in their crowded, confusing store. I happily pay a premium to shop at Pastime Hardware in El Cerrito, where I get great service and feel appreciated.

Who ever wrote this "Grumpy, mostly uninterested service and one of them cant cut keys worth a damn." Is a grumpy old fart, I have been doing business with this place and they are always a big help. A few blocks is convenient for small purchases when Home Depot is way up the end of Cutting.

Whale Point has a friendly, knowledgeable staff and great selection of boating maintenance necessities. This local store has high quality products and prices that often beat West Marine. I feel very lucky to have this great alternative to chain stores high prices and lack of real knowledge.

I loved the customer service. She was very nice to me. They have plenty of things in their shop. I never expected from them to have to many things in it, but their parking wasnt good like they dont have lines in them.

Unusually large selection of stainless steel hardware and fittings. This is not surprising given how close it is to many marinas and marine oriented businesses.
