The owner and his erm...friend *wink* are very helpful and friendly, despite looking imposing at first, being large and Slavs. The store is well stock with basically everything you need for the gone or projects within. I hung a dish rack from the ceiling, or up a hanging chair, raised and diverted my showerhead, replaced a faucet, retired my lighting fixtures, put a brew organizer system in my closet and put hooks and take in my fort so for under half what i expected to pay. When i got the wrong small part four times, we laughed and he helped me without worry. His dog is super cute too. This is the kind of local business that I wouldnt mind paying more at, and I dont even have to do that. His hours are not exactly at posted (8:30am is wishful thinking), but the owner and friend are the only staff, and always make the experience pleasant.

The owner falsely accused me for someone else or thought i stole from him previous trip to his store. Everyone I went in the store I at least spent $100. I do not steal nor do I look like or act like one who does. I am very offended by his false accusation and embarrassment by him checking my briefcase in front of customers to find out I had nothing of his tucked away. Then after that happened he said my friend was bad news and I shouldnt come back to his store again!!?????!!?? What a dumb idiot That guy is! Bad business for sure. So now I gladly spend lots of money at Coles hardware on Polk st! They deserve the business much more than nob hill hardware Russian dueshbag

I love this store. Youll be amazed that this small store is packed with more than everything you expect to a hardware store. As an artist who do biking, sewing, wood-working, sometimes accidentally staining the carpet with oil paint, and ruining a saucepan, I often rush into and leave this store with stuffs perfectly matched to my needs. Its really well-stocked and people here are always friendly and helpful.

The guys who run this store are super helpful every time, and they have most everything you need packed in a pretty small store. More than a couple times theyve given me little extra pieces of this or that for free, to help finish one of the many odd projects i have going on. This is what a neighborhood store should be.

Awesome hardware store with top quality customer service..... Im a mechanical engineer, now a technical marketing guy, so I know good hardware when I see it. This place has an impressive array of the right tools, plus some ultra cool, hard to find gadgets. Check it out!

I didnt get to wander around for long before a cute young man with an Eastern European accent came to help me. He had fine responsiveness and knew better than some Ace Hardware employees Ive run into. Really adorable. Im coming here for everything from now on.

Great selection and excellent service! They wouldnt let me leave until I got the best screw driver for my project. Thats right, they spent 20 mins making sure I got the perfect $6 tool.
