The guy seems nice but he sold me some really awful taillight that I bought mainly because I needed one and wanted to support a local bike shop. I bought the most expensive one thinking it would work best, but it seems like he has some off brand stuff that doesnt work so well, as this light failed to work after one use. I was going to buy a U-lock too, but he only had one that he assured me would not be defeated by a pair of bolt cutters, yet here I am looking at it on Amazon with reviews of people having their bikes stolen with that same lock. I dont know, Im a little indifferent with this place. I didnt bring my bike in for maintenance and maybe hes really good with that, but beware of some of the products there.

By Lee Ross in the neighborhood. The owner has tuned up several bicycles for me. He is very knowledgeable; definitely down to earth; has a very funky shop and does good work. He likes to chat and knows the local players in the cycling scene. His prices are competitive for both labor and materials.

Very cool little shop with more history on the walls than most museums. Some day I hope Im Mike; that guy knows crazy amounts about obscure corners of the bike world. Lovely local gem!
