I recently bought a new Raleigh road bike (my first new bike in 15 years) and these guys were incredibly helpful and attentive. Im a tall guy and needed to custom order a bike and everything about the process was seamless and smooth. Everyone in this shop is super patient and just all around nice guys. You can tell that they actually care and want you to enjoy your bike and cycling just as much as they do. They take the time to answer all your questions make you feel very welcome and at home in their store. If you live in San Francisco or the Bay Area and you need a bike or repair work done or accessories, this is the place to go. Local business with great people who love what they do. Swell rules!

Great Shop! These are the friendliest and most helpful bike shop people Ive found. Uri and Will are really committed to delivering a quality experience to customers and unlink other bike shops Ive found, are happy to work on vintage and old bikes needing love. They also throw some awesome events and they even have a neat little bike camping popup shop from the people at the Pedal Inn. All in all a great bike shop experience that is highly recommended. Check them out if you are in the area!

Today (June 10 Saturday 2017)in the morning , me and my wife stopped by to get some adjusting of my kids bikes and one person, aproached me and started helping me out installing some nuts in the brakes and did it on the two bikes in less than five minutes I was good to go, he was friendly and accurate....I left some tip in the jar,... good job!! These people are amazingly friendly and helpful!!!!!

Swell Bicycles friendly, competent, over the top service saved our cycling outing yesterday! Not only did they unstick the chain on my bike after the chain came off the derailleur, they tuned up the gears and stopped the rear fender from rattling, too. All for $20 and in about 30 minutes. If ever you need help with your bicycle, especially near Golden Gate Park, I highly recommend this shop.

Great shop. The guys that work here are friendly and super helpful. They opened a week before I moved to the Sunset so I feel a special kinship with this place. Good selection of products, some clothes locally made. But the main thing is the guys that work here. Just nice to have a place that is looking out for you as a cyclist.

A jem of a bike shop in San Francisco! The service, knowledge and selections are all superb. Uri, Will and other staff are the friendliest staff you will encounter. They put togethet a custom bike for me that is the most amazing bike I ever had....and I have had many!!!

Hey - you guys were so awesome today when my girlfriend and I came by cuz I got a flat. You answered questions as quick as we could fire em, and even made a few adjustments on our bikes for free. Refreshing. She bought a bell. Thanks so very much!

Fantastic service. I broke my chain in GG Park and coasted to this shop. I was taken care of right away, and although the mechanic fixed my old chain, and didnt push me to get a replacement, I decided it was time. Nice work and not expensive.
