After numerous glowing reviews from friends and coworkers, I came in to order a few cuts of the rib eye. Make sure you ask them for the signature rub on it - its a special treat for your tastebuds. If you arent a carnivore - this place can get pretty overwhelming and Im not sure what youd be doing there...unless you just want BBQ sauce. Their selection is fantastic (sauce + meats)! The next item on my list to try here is the rack of lamb...my grill is waiting for you.....mmmmmm. FYI - this place is CASH ONLY! Make sure you have enough on hand and grab a few potatoes frm them on the house after you make your big kid purchase.

Clean, friendly, efficient, with beautiful product. They donated a gift certificate for a 20lb BBQ turkey to our schools auction and I had the winning bid. I ordered it for a big family dinner tonight and it was perfect. It was ready at exactly the time I requested it. Fresh from the oven, hot and juicy, cooked to perfection and so delicious. My guests raved about it. And the meal prep was much less stressful for me since I didnt have to worry about the turkey! I am super stoked that this place exists right down the street from me. Moved here recently from Brooklyn and never had a butcher shop this close by. Old school feel, killer looking beef and complimentary potatoes for buying a choice ribeye...? Wait what? Yup thats right. Prices are what you would expect from a quality butcher shop, and Im sure it will be well worth it. Bring your business here and keep businesses like this prospering. Now lets hope this cheap grill of mine doesnt ruin this beautiful cut of meat...

I LOVE this place! Yes, the beef is fantastic but Im more of a chicken and seafood person so I make a special trip for their fresh chickens and frozen seafood. Yes, frozen seafood. The shrimp are the perfect large-sized and when you cook them, they are firm and plump, not soft and chemical-tasting like the regular grocer type. And the chickens are tender and delicious - so fresh-tasting! The staff is always available, friendly and helpful.

Every steak, pork chop or hamburger I have had from here has been incredible! Ive also recently discovered their nice selection of lunch meets and cheeses that I only shop here for now. As small as the shop is, there are still sections of the meat areas that I havent even ventured into. A definite GO TO if you are in the market for an excellent home cooked dinner or tasty sandwich!

Happiest place on earth, well next to Vegas! Their meat is always top shelf, had an ex-University of Nebraska football player tell me the filets from Beef Palace were better than they got at the training table. I dont think Ive ever had a better steak any place to date (Im still searching though). The hot pepper sausages and bacon are outstanding, the dogs always love their bones!

Absolutely what I was looking for in a local butcher shop. This place has been around since 1970 and they are very proud of their history. Photos and mementos line the shop. No grass-fed meat, but all their meat is dry-aged, which is REALLY what you want in a butcher shop. Staff is friendly and knowledgable. Try the house-made sausages, they are AWESOME.

How is it possible in this day and when we know so much about the perils of grain; especially GMO corn, that a place with a reputation as strong and storied as the beef palace would only offer corn finished beef? Either someone hasnt paid attention to the market at large or they re just stuck in a rut.

Asked for grass fed beef and was told "We dont believe in grass fed beef." I did end up buying some meat but have decided I wont be returning. There is a big difference between believing and knowing the facts about what you sell, most importantly when it comes to meat or any food.
