Last week I bought a brand new 2009 Subaru Outback from McCrea Nissan/Subaru in Eureka, CA.I went to drive to work yesterday morning--eight days after buying the car...still on my first tank of gas...and several indicator lights came on and wouldnt go off (brake, ABS, etc). The dealer had the car towed to the shop...Turned out there was an electrical part that was "factory defective." They ordered the part and provided me with a loaner car for the night, for which I am grateful. I am still shocked and horrified that my brand new car broke a week after I bought it. I asked the dealer to take back my car and give me a different one that is not "factory defective." Needless to say they said no. While I hope the car has fewer problems from this point forward, I have to say this experience has given me a bad vibe from this dealer. They said its a fluke, but I have to wonder...This is not the experience I was hoping to have after buying my first brand new car.

My car needed a part and I ordered it via McCrea. This was on a Friday. They said the part wouldnt be in the shop until the following Tue or Wed. I thought that was fine. I went into the shop on Wed since I hadnt heard from them. They now claimed that the part wouldnt be there until Friday (a week later) but that they would be closed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. So, they expect me to wait more than a week for this part. I went online, found the part, selected overnight shipping, and the price was still cheaper than McCreas. I called McCrea and said that they needed to refund my payment (they made me pay when the order was placed). They said no. So, they dont believe in keeping their word. Now I have had to put in a dispute with the credit card company, which is really fun. I ordered the part online and it will be here tomorrow, one day after placing the order! I will NEVER use McCrea Nissan again and I recommend you dont either.

The broken keyfob they handed my girlfriend after she signed the paperwork was the first of a long series of hassles with the car she was sold by McCrea Nissan. Four years later, weve had to tackle two major repairs, one, a broken rack and pinion, and two, a cylinder completely misfiring. On a car that is under 60K miles, thats either a shabby manufacturing, terrible luck or the fact that it was an abused rental car. They said it was a single owner, a nice little old lady who treated her car good. Anyway, stay away, if you possibly can in the tiny car world of Eureka.

I was driving my truck around town and it was making a loud clanking noise, I called them asking if I could get it in to be looked at and they advised me to get there as soon as i could or they would have a tow truck come get me if i thought it wasnt safe to drive my truck there, I made it and it turned out my rear end had gone out! I made it just in time, It was a friday, and by tuesday they had my truck fixed, made it with my warranty and had me on the road again! Great dealership and service! Thanks Jesse and Robert! You guys saved me!

I purchased a new Subaru from McCrea toward the end of 2015 and have so far had a couple services performed on the vehicle. Great staff all things considered. The service department is timely and contacts you when they should. The sales staff isnt pushy and take all of your wants/needs into consideration when youre searching for a car. I highly recommend stopping in and seeing what the folks at McCrea can do for you if youre in the market for a new or pre-owned/used vehicle.

Stay away from this dealership - especially if your looking for a Subaru. I went in with an asking offer (and open to negotiations) and instead got a very, very unreasonable offer (compared to other dealerships) and a sales manager/floor person that was just a d*ck (Ken Gordon Im talking about you). They must be still riding high on the returns from the cash for clunkers program as I cant see them making many sales with the level of sales professionalism shown.

I went to Mccrea Nissan in November and ordered a new Nissan Quest. They were really friendly and helpful, and the salesmen went out of their way to help me.They treated us really nice and helped us learn about our different financing options and got us a good deal on the van. My kids love it. We installed a DVD player in it... road trips are now a lot more peaceful. I tell everyone to go here and I will be back next time my family needs a car.

This business has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Ive been trying unsuccessfully for a month to get them to fix my airbags after I was sent a recall notice from Subaru of America. Too bad they arent worried about the safety of my family. Corporate wasnt much help either though. Ive called them regarding the matter twice to no avail. If youre considering buying a Subaru, I would reconsider.

I went to 3 other DealerShips, Was told over and over that I had Bad Credit and that my interest rate would be Stupidly High!! The whole time they treated me like a 2nd class citizen. I went in to McCrea and Kelly said let us at least try. Not only did they treat me with RESPECT! They got me a NEW car for 0.9% not 24% like the other places. I would only shop there from now on.

I bought my Subaru in 2011 and had a flawless experiance. Since then every time I have gone into the dealership I have been impressed with the excellent service and kind and helpful staff. I would not go anywhere else. I LOVE this business. I believe my car from them is the best purchase I have ever made.

Great service department! I had a few issues with my Murano and they were able to fix it with minimal costs to me. They are very friendly and trustworthy. I would highly recommend McCrea Nissan, expecially the service dept!
