It took me about 2 days to finally say ,enough is enough . Im usually not one to complain especially over something like this but. Really just could not get pass this. So amongst my last trip to HD I was unfortunate to have had the worst customer service in the county ,thanks to a cashier named Joanne,jeane something Im that range (short hair ,heavy set,late 40s woman ) Monday evening .I needed to EXCHAGE a set of nails and return some hooks my wife purchased for our decorations. When I entered the store I immediately ask "return section " .they tell me to the left and all the way down. once I arrived I say "hi hows your day going " Johanna replies "we cant take a return that because, no one seen u walk in with it " I reply to "theres 5-6 employees that seen me" she still tries to call and verify . (KEEP IM MIND SHE NEVER ASKED FOR RECIEPT) WHICH I HAVE NOW. She tells me "they got denied and to call a number . It truly make me feel like differing everyone I know to Lowes .just so they can avoid that problem .

Went down to Home Depot this morning to purchase another pail of paint and have one shaken that I purchased not long ago. The sluggish worker in the paint department let me stand there for 15 minutes before he told me that he could not shake the pail because the seal was broken. I worked at Home Depot for 10 years in the paint department and never had any problems shaking pails that were already opened unless I was too stupid to check the cap on the bucket and make sure that was tight . Needless to say I will be going to a real paint store to have this color matched and have them shake my bucket of paint that has already been opened .. What a joke.

Ive always enjoyed my experience at home Depot until today. The staff has always been kind and helpful. Today a young lady named yeni was quite rude. When I went to check out she realized that she had to rescan all the items ,a total of 9 items she was clearly perturbed. She seemed bothered that another customer slowed her down by conversing with me. Finally she seemed upset again that I asked what the balance on the gift card was. Training young employees on customer service is in order. A smile,a hello and being patient with older people goes a long way.

I was on hold for 15 minutes on Jan 9 2012. When the dept I requested did no answer the lady on the phone said "oh god" besides my being offended by her attitude that is just bad service. I asked for her manager and she would not give me a name. She said there were 4. Then she put me on hold again and came back asking for my number so "Dave H" could call me back. I am going the further distance to drive to Lowes. They might be a little more pricey sometimes but they know how to provide customer service!

I found what I needed, but the employees told me: No we can not do that. Then I went to Lowes. They went out of their way to help and get me what I needed and cut it, bundle it and the whole experience was like day-and-night, Home Depot, not good. - Lowes very good to the point of excellence. The Home Depot in my area has never had a good manager. The employees need a lot of good training. They do not know how to serve the customers.

I love this store. They have everything you could dream of for your home. My kids and I love to go and there is so much to see and things to build to improve my everyday life. I almost gave a four star though because lately Ive been bombarded and accosted by solar salespeiple pretending to be there to actually help me. Put up a sign be friendly but when I say I do t want solar dont follow me around trying your sales pitches

Waste of time. The employees are very friendly and helpful. The problem is there arent any here. Ive gone in twice to buy lumber and have It cut. There isnt anybody in the department and I had to call the front desk each time to get somebody. Each time it took about 45 minutes. Please hire more people!!!!

My husband and I were there returning flooring that was damaged in delivery, the lady was hufffing and rolling her eyes and was very ride at the returns desk. Talk about bad service. Next time we will shop at another home depot. Nobody should be treated like that.

Crappy service. Just moved to Corona and remodeling my house so Im constantly in there buying. Everytime I go nobody acknowledges you. Employees walk right pass you when your clearly visible and you have that lost look in your face.

Good store but only if you know where the items your looking for are. Otherwise, good luck finding someone to help you. Either, its not their area and they wont find someone for you or they see you coming and run!

Go here if you want your truck or car broken into or stolen. Word is a employee is doin the crimes. Employees told me theres a break in 2-4 times a week. Managers wont help or look at video. Terrible management.

I will never purchase an appliance from Home Depot again. Out of 6 appliances, 2 appliances were delivered damaged. Extremely POOR customer service.
