After walking around the store for quite a while one associate asked me if I needed help and directed me to a sale area. When I got there there were no prices and no associates. I walked to customer servive and asked if there was anyone who could help me. She then called over the store intercom for someone. No one ever came and I found an associate near by and asked for help. He was clearly no happy about it. After he waliked around the items several times he finally scanned them and gave me the price. I asked a question which he said I dont know and the turned and walked away. Youve lost this customer, I left and dont plan on returning.

Customer service on the floor leaves a lot to be desired. After I was ignored in the fastener aisle for 5 minutes I asked an idol associate for help. She seems very upset that I was asking for help and then quickly took the screws I had to size them with a guide. She quickly identified what she though was the replacement screws and sent me on my way. Of course, when I got home to complete my project they were the wrong size . I now get to make another trip back to this store to see if I can find better assistance from another associate.

I recently had a lawn mower that I purchased last April break, and despite it being a week out of warranty the Assistant Store Manager Betsy decided to let me return the lawn mower and give me store credit towards a new one. Jessica, who was the employee upfront who helped me with the return process, was incredibly polite and did a great job digging up the information needed for the return. I was really impressed with their level of customer service and will definitely be going back.

I rented one of the Grab N Go Vans from this location. The check in process was quick and simple. The cashier explained their policies including a note to bring a gas receipt back. This policy was also stated on a large sign near the counter where I checked out. The cargo van itself was a newer model and very clean. I returned the van after I was finised with it and put gas in it before doing so. Great price and experience.

This is my local store. I can find my way to most every department and isle in the store whether I am researching or purchasing materials. Like any Home Depot when your not certain about something in particular, always go to one of the older Customer Service Reps for help. They usually have some kind of construction experience under their belt.I will always go out of my way to find a home depot store over Lowes

Recently needed to remodel my Extra Space Storage on site apartment, my generous DM managed to get laminate wood flooring approved. Becky took care of the order and did her best to expedite the installation but some components werent available locally, Lori the expediter stepped in and found a solution. If you ever have a problem with your order ask for Lori she goes the extra mile.

This location is not very crowded during the work day. If you need help finding something, I would recommend not asking the people by the registers. The staff is friendly, but you can tell that the employees that work near the self-checkout kiosks are not as knowledgeable of the store layout as the employees you find walking the other sections of the store.

I am writing this review for the customer service of one employee, Crystal at store #1240 in Lake Forest. She demonstrated initiative and follow through. Crystals customer service is 5 star professionally saw to my refund after I had left the store and matter in her care. She called me two days later to report that my refund was complete.

Horrible customer service! I’ve spent so much money here and have given chance after chance to redeem themselves, but nothing changes. They are just a bunch of lazy self-entitled employees with no ambition, starting from the manager. It’s so bad I once had to get corporate involved. Never shopping there again.

Worse store EVER!! 4 employees wouldnt even make eye contact with me. When i had to ask for help they were very rude. Hope corporate sees this and does something about it. I shop there alot because its close and most of the time this happens. Very sad. Get better employees that want to work and help please.

Not even close to helpful the employes will run away to not answer questions In all the years Ive been going here I found one guy in hardware that was will to help and knew his shi.. Guys that have worked there forever dont know the simplest things,crazy.

Sometimes the staff is friendly. Sometimes they are just OK. You probably should go to this home depot knowing what your doing, but sometimes the staff will assist you in a way that goes above and beyond.

Needs better organized carts to get cart have to walk all way across parking lot. Carts take up 20 spaces outside instead of being inside .
