Do not buy anything from this store! They are truly criminals here. I recently purchased a very high end car stereo system which I had installed at this location and it has never worked right. Ive contacted the store many times seeking resolution, but nothing has been done. I even went to the Best Buy customer care and they also could not get a response from this stores management. Here is the last correspondence from Best Buy Customer Care, basically saying they also could not contact anyone at the store. Criminal for sure! The very worst customer service and technical team of any retailer anywhere, period. "As mentioned, regrettably I can only escalate this to the management at the store location. After several escalations and calls, with no contact from them, I do not have any additional means of escalation available to me. I can try to send another escalation to this team however I can not guarantee you they will contact me or respond regarding this issue."

This is the second time I have had a problem with the best buy Auburn store. We live about 30 min away. So, the first time we called their asked if they had a certain gaming system they told us they had 3 so we drove their turns out they were mistaken and did not have any at the time. Hour drive wasted. Then we go to buy a laptop find the one we like they said they could transfer all the info from our old laptop to the new. Sounds perfect! So as we are paying they said it wouldnt be available until the next day late morning. We werent too happy with that but knew it would take some time. We call the next day at 2pm about to just head down their and they tell us they havent even started on my computer and it wont be done until possibly the next day! They all seem pretty nice but doesnt seem like they really know what is going on in that store. Just bad customer service when we are constantly told something different.

I had to return an item I had paid for with a credit card. When I proffered my credit card for the return credit, the clerk declined the card and insisted on me giving her my "identification" (i.e., drivers license), WHICH SHE SCANNED INTO HER COMPUTER/REGISTER! That means that my name, address, date-of-birth, drivers license number and God knows what else is PERMANENTLY in Best Buys system. Not a big deal you say? Think about all of the recent hacks stealing such info from other stores. If the thieves get my SS# and matching address from another source and match that data with this, theyre really in business to wipe me out. Ill never do business with BB again and pray that my identity isnt compromised. This is a very good reason to scope the product out at BB but actually BUY from Amazon. No such problem there! I only wish I had known about this BEFORE I bought - thats why Im alerting you.

The sales staff was not helpful. I was talked into buying an Open Box laptop with a Solid State Hard Drive. The Lenovo was battery dead so I didnt get to look under the hood until I got home. I found out that the hard drive was not SSD. I took it back the next morning at store open and was refunded my money. My complaint is that the sales staff refused to honor the agreement we had regarding my monies going towards a SSD and attempted to sell me a new laptop with SSD for twice the price of the Open Box. They should have honored our agreement and delivered a SSD drive Lenovo to me even if they had to dip into their new stock. I love the Geek Squad but the sales staff leaves something to be desired. Lots of talk very little productivity.

Brought my computer in to the geek squad a couple weeks ago cause it crashed and I needed DESPERATELY to back up my photos.. They had 3 failed attempts before successfully completing the back up. I would suggest asking more questions next time, I had a lot of photos and I dont think they took it seriously. Anyways, I was calling a lot for updates and to check up during the process as it took like 5 days, and was extra pleased with Matt there at the squad. He was the only one who made me feel better over the phone and like he actually cared about how concerned I was with the back up, so jus wanted to give him some kudos(:

Terrible customer service!!!!! They have the possibly the worst customer service of any store Ive ever been to. Associates walk right by me and avoided eye contact so they wouldnt have to help. Wait I have green cash money to spend here! This has happened the last 3 times Ive been there. Finally gave up on them and although its a drive, now I do business with Frys. How can such a big company have such a lousy staff. The Auburn store manager must be a high school student.

2nd laptop we have purchased from this store and this is the second time we have had their top of the line pc go out and this time they have called us THREE times to pick it up and THREE times it does not even boot up at the counter when we pick it up..Now they want to send it to the manafacturer and we are going to be without it for another 3 weeks on top of the 4 weeks we are all ready out..geek squad sucks!

Was happy with purchasing experience, BUT three days later I found the item cheaper at Target. We were told when we bought the item Best Buy would price match any other retailer. We called three days after the purchase and were told that all price matches were suspended until Tuesday which is two days away. Customer service told us to bring it back for a refund and go purchase it at Target.

dropped off laptop and desk top to have anti virus installed they did not enter serial numbers ... in other words they failed to fully install. and did not fix the start up issues with my tower!! had it for a week called me and said its ready.. B.S. plus 45minute wait at store Skylar the tech, you let me down.................

Its great to see that some things across this nation are consistent, and the underwhelming customer service at this location does just that. Ive yet to not be disappointed by a Best Buy anywhere. Will not ever waste my time here again, shopping Amazon Prime from now on.

HORRIBLE!!!!! service in store waited 10 minutes at the check out line for someone to help us check out while 5 employees stood around on their phones and made fun of customers. Also not so friendly and did not even bother to ask if we needed help with anything.

I went in there to get a new phone because my old one was no longer working. I st of there for 15 min. Trying to get someone to help me. Finally a lady helped and sent me to another guy who sent me back to the lady. There disorganized and horrible service.
