David Chavez

The staff was pretty rude there. We were from out of town and broke down. We came to get a set of brake and some DOT 5 brake fluid. Everyone acted like we were blessed to be in their presence. We went down the road to put the brake pads on and took off for the rest of our road trip. We got about twenty miles out and the brakes malfunctioned again, so we decided to replace the caliper. We called Old Fort and asked if they had one in stock. They said they did not have one and it would take 10 days to get one in knowing we were from out of town. So, I called J&P Cycle and they looked up the part number for me, told me they had one in stock and would send it to us. Being from out of town we had no place to deliver it to, so we called Old Fart and asked if they would receive it for us. They told us NO and again they were rude. We ended up getting a boat shop to receive it for us so we could pick it up from them the next day. Old Fart Harley Davidson is not part of the old school biker mentality where we take care of each other and cater to the RUBs. It is bad business sense to act like that, but what do I know, I have only been riding all my life.

I knocked a chunk of rubber out of my front tire and cord was starting to show. We were 400 miles from home in Alma AR. I called Old Fort Harley Davidson and a friendly voice answered her name is Kristen she was more than helpful she gave me a quote over the phone. When I arrived she was at the desk took my information and in 10 to 15 minutes my bike was in shop. I wonder around the show floor and met David he works there great guy to visit with. My whole crew showed up and enjoy the shop. 45 minutes to an hour they were finished with my bike the quote on the phone was the same on my ticket, Im impressed this has to be the best dealership I have ever been to. Thank you Kristen and David for the good time. We made it home no problems. I would recommend this shop and dealership to anyone 100%.

Had my bike worked on and the quality of work and attention to detail was poor. While I appreciated the loaner bike program, I feel the bike you are loaned should be similar to the bike you own. The parts availability could be better. Most parts of the store the service is ok, but other parts act like they are doing you a favor by doing their JOB. I ride Harley because I believe in the brand but I am less than impressed by my local Harley shop, these bikes arent cheap and service should be better after the sale.
