Good atmosphere. The last time I shopped at this location there were several samples being given out throughout the store. Employees seemed nice and approachable. I cannot say the same for the people that shop here. In the 15 minutes that I was there I was bumped into, and ran over with a cart (separate incidents. different people) neither of which said "excuse me" "pardon me" or "Im sorry". One of them actually looked at me in disgust as if I shouldnt even be there, as if it was my fault that she ran me over, and as if I should have moved out of her way even though she came around the corner violently behind me crashing into me and completely running over my foot. I reacted the same every time with a smile and a "its okay" even though there was no apology. I also witnessed an argument escalating in the produce section about someone else doing the same thing to another shopper. All of the people that were doing the hitting and running over were elderly folk though which was surprising also. I am not used to this. I usually shop in the west and have never seen this before. This is not the stores fault, the store alone gets an A from me. Just beware when you shop here, bring padding.

I like the store as far as having a variety of ranch market produces, but the new store director, Chris leaves a bad taste in my mouth. He lacks the management skills to me in customer service. They had flour full price yet, expires in 2 months. When I asked him about this and see what discounts he could offer, I was applaud at his first reaction and that was to give a couple of shrugs. Im not sure whats his deal, maybe military,but this is clearly not his area or industry. Someone better to serve the community around and to make people feel welcomed is not what this store director is doing. I actually left all my groceries behind and drove up the street to a competitor, sure, they wouldnt mind. This guy is a a-hole, not because of no discount either but because of his unpleasant character. Not going back because he just works here, not really part of the community and im not supporting him financially. Shop pleasant.

Went in today. Finally found the laundry detergent that was on sale in stock. So I took one and the item rang up for $8.99 at the register and when I challenged the posted price of $5.99 the female manager "went to check ". She came back and said it costs $10.99. WHAT? How can it be $10.99 when the register rang it for $8.99? So she went and "checked again" and this time brought back the tag from the shelf with the sale price missing. It was a good thing I snapped a picture of the sales tag when I picked it up. Had manager verify my pic taken a few minutes earlier and got the $5.99 price. Took some patient arguing, but got it.

I have only been to two Food Citys and have not been satisfied with either. The selection is very limited when comparing it to say a Walmart Neighborhood Market. Some of the prices were a bit high as well. The staff at this location was very friendly and one of them took time to help us find something we needed. I did buy some Food City labeled homemade style tortillas and they were very yummy. Maybe if you were going for particular items like I do to say Spouts, then dont hesitate. But for weekly base shopping trips I would go else where.

This store is hideous and is in major need of a significant renovation. See Wegmans in the Rochester NY area for how a grocery store should look. When you look worse than Walmart, you need some serious help. Polished concrete floors, fresh paint and new LED lights would be a start. On the upside, the staff are helpful and do the best they can do with the shabby surroundings. Just because you cater to a Latino clientele does not mean you have to be low rent. Step up your game!

Foods selection is ok but bats flying around fruit and vegetables are nasty.. The bumbs sit inside the store and look off while people shop. Not good hygiene or look inside store. One lady looked bumish ewalking around with cart eating rotisserie chicken. Dont think that will be my store of choice anymore. FRYs is th new chioce...

Im from out of town and I happened to be staying in a hotel and food City was in walking distance from me so I decided to check it out and I was surprise that the food that was prepared was very good the people were very respectful and professional and anything else that I needed was there so thank you

It does a good job at what it is trying to do. It is a ok store with cheaper priced food. Not the most luxurious place but thats not what its trying to be. Great place if you want a lot of limes because they are a lot cheaper here then at other places.

I love this place! Safeway & Frys definitely missed a chunk of their market that Food City happily picked up on. Quality groceries reasonably priced, not focused on shifting Profit Center items and playing the passive-aggressive upsell-card shuffle.

Not a very big selection and varity. Caters to the hispanic population, so if you shop here it would be beneficial to at least know enough Spanish to decifer the difference or if and what you can substitute for what.....

Clean organized but where you order food is in shambles. Too many staff unwilling to take your order, tables arent wiped down after people eat, cook doesnt seem to know how or what ingredients to use to prepare your meal.

Great place to get taco meat! Go to the butcher counter for great marinated chicken and beef. Dont be shy about asking for more marinade either! Also, their employees are wonderful

Great prices on basic cuts of meat. Love the prepared fajita meat, a little too salty but can cut salt with sauce and or cheese when fixing your plate.

Good place if you are looking for Mexican food. But if youre looking for a regular supermarket, go to Frys, Walmart or another big player.

Pretty good grocery store. The store seems a bit outdated but the prices and selection were great and the cashier was really nice.
