A lot of the staff here is not very friendly or helpful but most are just OK. I mean its Walmart, what do you expect? They have everything you can ask for, which is wonderful. The McDonalds here has a very friendly employee. She is African American and is apparently bilingual. The store is not that dirty, its average and cleaner than I would expect for a store that big and with that many people running through it every day. The reason I am only giving it 3 stars is because of the location. Its not in a safe area and there are a lot of indigent people walking around the front and in the parking lot asking for money. Its pretty scary and some of them are very aggressive. If you are a woman I would recommend not coming here alone, especially at night. I am a man and I would not even come here alone at night. The parking lot is a cesspool. The police is parked out front but I only see one cruiser with nobody in it. They should have at least 3-4 cruisers patrolling the area, especially after sundown. This area is known for having a high crime rate with lots of cheap and dirty apartment buildings full of people who have been through the system (prison, detox, parole). Its so scary when you are in line and see a uniformed police officer patrolling the registers. I have been harassed for money so many times by tweakers and homeless people and seen scary gang-member-looking dudes walk around looking like they want to stab someone. THIS IS A SERIOUS PUBLIC SAFETY ISSUE AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. Please have the police run through there more often.

Been going to this store since I was a baby. I can say some items are a little messy. Just gotta stay on top of it. Thats all. Cashiers are very ! Hard workers ! The lines are a tad bit long but ...... What do you expect with such a big store with a small amount of cashiers on hand. I can understand the focus these cashiers have and its hard to lose put in focus with all the negative remarks people place on these cashiers. Remember its only for the moment. This will pass and tomorrows a better day. People expect way to much. When all you gotta do is have a smile on. Which is hard to do sometimes when you work in such a low staffed environment. But when it comes down to someone stealing they ! Are on top of there game. Id say no bodys perfect you are gonna meet so many personalities you cant expect them to always have a smile on there faces. There human beings dont be little them cos you expected so much. Unless there cussing you out... Or just yelling at you... Then... Thats another story. Think maybe its you... Not them. Unless there a big meanie head. On the side note please have a little bit more decency and dont expect so much out of something so little. I hope this made who evers day whos reading this... Remember you matter just put a smile on you got this times will be rough and it will only be for a moment, theres a better day like tomorrow. Dont give up :) you got this !!! Dont let anyone ruin your day.

Let me begin this by saying I am A big fan of Wal-Marts...but...a super center that isnt open 24/7??? Should no longer call yourself a super center if you close every night. This place a terrible. Long lines, filthy bathrooms, and terrible service (save for one amazing girl in electronics who is very helpful). Do not shop at this Wal-Mart unless you want a bad experience. This place needs MAJOR overhaul. You would think upper management would do something to improve this store. Maybe they dont care. Sam Wally would have a heart attack if he could see this store..... And for Petes sake CLEAN UP THE illegal aliens loitering outside. They run at your car and practically try to force themselves into your vehicle. This is ridiculous. Where the check is ICE? This is shameful that this store allows that to go on in their parking lot. They have no respect for their customers to let them be harassed like that. How hard could it be to stop something like that. It is clear that loitering is illegal and seeking employment without legal status is a legal and hiring illegal immigrants is illegal...so before you reach the front doors of this Wal-Mart you will be forced to witness 3 CRIMINAL FELONIES. 4 if the hobos are sitting by the benches shooting dope. I would love for Wal-Mart to explain why they choose to subject their shoppers to this....

I shop this location.. If you want good service and a store that cares .. You need to go to the Elliot Rd. Super store.. This is not just from one visit.. Several visit.. They are a 24 hour store.. But dont expect to get help after 10 PM.. The phone ring over to the fitting room... The story is ( I dont know ) not my job... I dont care ?? One day I ask a employee for help... He gets on the radio and call out for the person who works in that particular dept.. His response even though he is just standing around doing NOTHING.. Someone will be with you shortly... Its not my dept.. Ok.. so you wait.. You see another employee. You ask them... Ok Ill go get someone.. wait right here.. So you do... 5 mins later you give up go to the from of the store.. That employee that is getting someone for you is going home.. Now they dont know... Oh all the cashiers are gone also.. maybe three lanes open with 30 people on line... So you say I am making this up right... Sure you are.. You are just a disgruntled customer... Honestly no..Overall Walmart has many wonderful helpful employees that do a great job.. I dont judge a book by its cover.. But this store is the pits.. Still dont believe me.. Go there on night about 9:30PM... Stand around and watch... then you write a review.

I experienced a terrible cashier last week. I visit this Wal-Mart regularly, and usually the cashiers are friendly enough. The gentleman in front of me purchased a pair of socks and walked away without them. The cashier, scoffed, rolled her eyes and tossed them behind her. The man was no more than 5 feet away at this point. So I said " Are those his socks?" She said "Yes." I said "Youd better go catch him then." She said "Im not doing anything." I said, "Thats appalling; he just PAID for those." She said Hell figure it out." She proceeded to check me out, and knocked over one of my bags off the rotary. Then another customer came up in the meantime to get the cap removed from a bottle of alcohol he PURCHASED. She Ignored the man asking for help, walked right past him and tried to help me with the bag she carelessly knocked off the rotary. I told her "Dont bother- its not like your customer service is suffering any since you let that man leave without his goods, and you literally ignored and walked right past this man, without even an acknowledgement." She scoffed and went back to the register. The icing on the cake, was that she was TRAINING someone! Seriously??

I used to live near this Walmart and have shopped here at basically every time and day of the week. Lines are always absurdly long (maybe 15+ people in every open line) and they are inevitably ALWAYS completely out of some things you came to buy. And not just one item, but like every brand and variation of that item. Examples: I went for tweezers and they were literally out of every single type/brand, probably a total of ten different tweezer slots completely out of stock. Same thing has gone for space heaters, hair ties, nail clippers, etc. They clearly have some mismanagement going on or their inventory system is irreparably broken. Otherwise, the employees are fine and its not clean, but not a disaster either. Overall though, the function of a store on the most basic level is to have products, and make it easy to purchase them, and they are failing on both accounts. Shame shame.
