My husband and I went to Costco to meet up with my parents who have a membership. We were running late so my father said to just go in the exit and meet them there. We were planning on eating there too so we walked in and headed to the food court when we decided to meet up with my parents first. We walked all the way back to where the toilet paper was and found my parents we walked around and then were approached by two employees and were chided for walking in the exit. They said that the man at the door asked for our card when no one asked us for it. The emplouse said in a snide way that we must not have heard him. We said we were meeting up with my parent who have a membership. The man employee walked away and said that I need to show my membership next time. When I told my father he was upset that they followed us all throughout the store to approach us in such a rude manner. He approached the employee and asked him to explain why he did what he did. He then lied stright to my fathers face and said that another employee asked for our card and we ignored him. He then proceeded to discriminate my husband and I saying that they have to watch young couples who come in without a pass, as if we are going to steal something. My husband and I are in our 30s!!! The employees are super rude at this store! I will never purchase a costco card. I dont know what it matters because we cant buy anything anyay and there is nothing there worth stealing. Sams club is a much better store with a much better selection.

Excellent prices at pharmacy (unbeatable), however you dont need a membership to use the pharmacy. And for the cost of a membership, I expect to treated with a little dignity. Apparently they have a policy that if you bring in a backpack, then upon exiting it must be searched. There are no obvious signs stating this, and luckily I did not have my bag searched because I asked the greeter and question and she pointed out to me that it will be searched when I leave, so I stuffed it behind a garbage can while I shopped. They dont give you grocery bags (I guess you can only shop here if you have a car?). And on my way out, my phone died, and I needed it to find my directions home. There was an outlet at in the entrance, and after charging my phone for a few minutes, an employee came up and asked "can I help you?" It took everything I had not to say something back, so I just politely explained that my phone needed a quick charge, and he stood there watching me until I left. On top of all that, I have yet to find a single item they carry that is cheaper or a better deal than Walmart, besides medication. Which you dont even need a membership for. I give two stars because their $1.50 polish dogs with a drink are actually a good deal. Other than that, this store sucks and I dont understand why people shop here.

Came to pick up pizza that we order from food court at least once a week. I left my card in the car in my purse . Cause you never need it to go to food court. Well today someone stop me ask for my card I only had my debt card and id. I stated am just here to pick up food from food court. A rude mgn like I need a card to make sure your a member. I said I dont have it. I need to look up your name I gave her my Id. I stated the last name is different. She rudely said your dont have a card and I cant let you in. Mind you my pizza is ready and now cold. I said I do have a card. I said how much is day pass is. She said free. At this point my husband and kids got out of the car. He brings in my purse I had her my card she looks at it and says oh your last name different I said I told you that. And this is why I spend more money at Sams. This is bull I told her I wanted a fresh pizza since you ruined my original one. Worst ever. I use to.love costco but, this leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Sad thing I use to do a lot of business her working for treatment center..

The older woman who is supposed to be a "greeter" at the door is literally the most ignorant person I have ever met! EVERY SINGLE TIME I come here my hands are full carrying my baby. So I obviously cant reach in my purse and look for my stupid card. I have sat and watched as she has let a dozen people walk in without showing their cards. Then when I walk up to go in with my hands completely full she will scream at me to show her my card even if I am already in the store she will scream at me from across the store. HELLO I pay to shop here! And I cant buy anything with out my card! She is literally horrible and SO ignorant! And there have been times that I just turn around and leave because she is so ignorant to me. She needs to be fired! She is the first person you have contact with as a customer and Costco you honestly want someone who is completely ignorant and out of control to be the first person people come in contact with to represent your company?!?

The greeting lady on Wed December 15th at 10:40 am was a real Grinch. As Im trying to get my kids huddled into the cart while tantrums are being thrown she kept sternly loudly shouting "Mama, I need to see your card." I acknowledge her and was trying to get kids settled to then shuffle and flash my card. She proceeded 3 times to hurry me up. Yes Costcos policy is to show it at the door. Yes I was doing my best to follow that. But what am I going to do in Costco without a Costco card? This isnt a TSA check point. Started my Costco trip super crappy. The rest of the employees were great and nice as normal. To the short hair silver greeting lady, well she isnt quite a greeting material. Merry Christmas.

Shop here with my mom to buy dog food and baby formula and Kirkland diapers. Sometimes my mom just buys the two items for me. Well I use Similac coupons that are $5 off and have used several since January 2017 now in April 2017 they tell my mom that the coupons sat my name and not her name so they cannot honor it since it doesnt match the membership. SERIOUS? So your telling me that if my mom wanted to help me out by offering to buy formula for me she cant use my coupon? Thats the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard especially since its been honored previously. Very disappointing and will not shop or recommend Costco to anyone who especially for baby items.

I was in Costco today and stopped at the Verizon kiosk to get help with my Yahoo on my Samsung cell. I had gone to the Verizon store in N. Logan a couple days before and the person who was to help me there was of no help. The guy at your store was very helpful. I didnt get his name, but it was around 3. I wanted to let you know you have a very good employee with him! I was ready to throw the phone away or switch to a different carrier.
