This center has incredibly inconsistent customer service. I called earlier this morning wondering if the store carried fresh eucalyptus, knowing it was a long shot. My children were severely congested and I had seen this tip where you tie the branches to the shower head to relieve and clear the sinuses. I was abruptly transfered to outdoor living by an unamed associate to yet another nameless woman who was simply rude. She answered the phone by saying "yes" as if my call was an inconvenience to her and when I politely asked if the store carried fresh eucalyptus branches she huffed and said shed need to ask her manager and left me to wait on that note. She came back fairly quickly and replied that, yes they did carry the branches. Excitedly I asked her how much they would cost and if they were bundled or by the singular branch. Once again she scoffed and answered me by saying she didnt know but they had them so I thanked her and decided to drive down. After a brief browse I asked two friendly employees if they knew where I could find the plants. I really wish I had looked at their name tags because they were very sweet! However they were utterly perplexed at my request and I ended up walking over to customer service. After waiting in line I was assisted briefly before being told to wait for someone else. I decided to look up the branches myself and found a sprig sold only in store and pointed it out to the associate helping me. It turned out to be artificial and nobody was able to locate the fresh branches. I had to load my sick babies back in the car empty handed. I knew it was an odd request which is why I called and to be honest if I knew the lady who answered my phone call 8 would call the manager and leave a personal complaint. She was so rude and ultimately caused me incredible inconvienance by sending me on a wild goose chase instead of answering my question correctly the first time.

I went to this store to buy WD-40. I forgot my ID in the car, so I finished with my other purchases and went to go get it. When I came back, I grabbed the WD-40 and went to another cashier. While the cashier was ringing me up, another employee came up and told him that he couldnt sell me the item because I had already been denied. I showed her my valid out-of-state drivers license. She told me that they could not accept it because it read "under 21" (despite the fact that I turned 21 in 2014 and the license does not expire until 2018.) I tried to explain that I am, in fact, over 21, and my license is current, but she kept talking over me and raising her voice to be heard. I returned about an hour later to speak with an assistant manager, who explained that not accepting drivers licenses such as mine is a Wal-Mart policy. When I told him that I have made age-restricted purchases at multiple other Wal-Marts in Arizona with my drivers license, he responded, "Then all those other Wal-Marts were breaking company policy." He then told me in a very condescending tone of voice to "make sure I got my license updated!" - which I have no incentive to do since every other store and restaurant I have visited in this state accepts my license as valid. The policy that Walmart is claiming they use is for a law in Arizona that states you cannot purchase alcohol with an Arizona ID that states "under 21" - you have ten days to update your license after you turn 21, otherwise you cannot purchase alcohol. This does not apply to out-of-state IDs or government documents. Since my ID was from Texas, my ID can be used to purchase alcohol and other age restricted goods. Thats why the other stores let me buy items from them - theyre following Arizona law and this is not a Wal-Mart policy.

I went into store to get items after work and after spending 1 1/2 picking out stuff when I went to pay due to the chip in my card it was asking for a pin. This is a corporate credit card that does not require one. I have been to other stores and they knew how to do it including this store but the cashier or the supervisor did not know how. I told them they could enter manually they stated they could not do that but funny how when I bought a new camera a few days earlier they could enter it. I asked if they would hold items they said they would when I returned after calling bank to get pin they put it away. I asked to speak with manager (Stephanie) old lady very rude does not know how to deal with customers so I asked for call from manager JOE two days later no call. If you cannot give customer service or call back you should not be in retail or a manager. Went to Wallmart on I 17 Happy Valley card worked fine and service was great!!! Joe and Stephanie need to find new jobs there are allot of people out there that are meant to deal with the public.

I just made a purchase & one item rang up $4 more ($9.98) than the posted price, ($5.73). This happens with such regularity that I take measures to document the posted price. What Walmart employees have done in the past is to remove the posted price while you wait at checkout for the "price check." Often, the price is removed, discarded, & disavowed. The choice is left to pay the hostaged new price or leave without the deal you thought you were getting, plus the wasted had for the "wild goose chase." In California, their AGO regulates Walmart for these practices, forcing Walmart to discount an additional $3 (If the item is $3 or less, it is provided gratis). California ruled Walmart does this with such regularity that its a pricing plot: bait & switch. Why would AZ AGO, General Brnovich not emplace & enforce such commonsense measure to protect AZ consumers? Hes elected to protect us, but it looks like its Walmart who gets protection. If he doesnt retrench, perhaps its time to "Ditch Brnovich." [Copyright asserted]

I dont know what it is about this Walmart! For some reason everytime I go to this location it is a terrible experience! Last week I tried to exchange an item I had bought the day before because when I got home I realized the cap was cracked. When I went back to exchange it the customer service rap gave me a hard time about it. Then yesterday I return a game that I had bought 2 days ago. I come back with a receipt to return it and she says I cant because it looks like its been tampered with. One small part of the corner is torn. You didnt have a problem selling it to me in that condition. Its clearly still new and unopened. She said and I quote. "Well... its a $5 game. I hope I dont get fired for this!" This place is a joke.

Grabbed my two items I needed that were located on the south end of the store then proceeded to a south end check out to go through the south exit only to have a rude employee shut the door in my face and say go around. This does not include the multiple other times that Ive come in on the same end of the store to purchase a few items like a pack of water for the weekend expecting the speedy checkout to be open only to be forced have to walk to the other end of the store and stand in line with people that are buying groceries for the month, Im just trying to buy a few items. Theyve wasted my time in the store and theyve wasted my time writing this review. Terrible Management and Company!
