I have been to this dealership now six times since they unveiled the new smart fortwo in September of those six times i was told to come back twice another day to look at it even after the fact i stated i was interested in buyng one and of the other four times i was hooked up with a salesman that knew nothing about the car and one the salesman even said you obviously know more about the car than i do. I personally wouldnt be seen in one of these. He went on to tell me the cars impractical and not worth it and that i should buy a Mercedes GLE. I have spoken to Mercedes and smart usa and smart usa which i have stayed in contact with has left two messages for the manager and smart usa has stated that he has not received any return calls. I know of two other individuals that have tried to buy smarts and they where not able to due to the salesman not returning phone calls or lack of salesman within the dealership. I personally think they do not care about the smart division what so ever. I come from a family that owns autoplexes and over 60 dealerships combined and you never tell someone to come back. I have reached out to this dealership several times and they have not returned any phone calls. I am starting to see a trend here with other dealerships that sell smart. I can personally see why smart is failing in America and its not the car its the lack of effort at a majority of the dealerships. my neighbors have all moved on to buying cars at Mercedes Benz of Scottsdale. I myself am not lucky being this is the only smart dealer in the valley. I may just go buy a fiat 500 Abarth

They are the only smart center in the valley and they know it. Our second year of regular maintenance they charged us 356.00 for oil change, lube, fluids...the usual. this includes ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY per hour for labor..do they have MIT grads doing this labor that makes it "worth" so much more? To add insult to injury, you are expected to sit an wait (on Saturdays) because they will not afford you any shuttle service nor even offer a rental. There are finally other service centers that will take care of a smart car. You are no longer stuck with being completely screwed over by the dealers that sell it.

I bought a 2011 smart car last week and was delighted with the entire process. We had been to a number of other car dealerships in the same area and were treated rudely by the sales people, if paid attention to at all. Not the case at smart car. We got a great deal, and when I took the car back to get the tinted glass, and other extras installed, they were very helpful, gave me a loaner, and set up a late pickup - all with no problems or issues. Im very happy with the car, and with the care I got from the dealership.

Brought my smart in for routine maintenance and to fix a tapping sound coming from the engine. $1200 later my engine is just as loud and now my clutch actuator is making loud noises everytime I start and stop my car. Terrible customer service and even worse car service.

The SMART center is within the Mercedes of Chandler dealership. The entire staff is personable, professional, and really went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Whether you buy a top-end mercedes or a responsible SMART car, they treat you the same ..with class.
