The sales managers here are downright TERRIBLE, sarcastic, rude, and as arrogant as they come. Please read on and I will more than justify my comments. (Caution it is lengthy) In 2012 I was in the market for a Sorrento for my wife. Stopped here first and got the “we will beat anyone’s price” spiel, they were $2500 higher than Sand’s KIA (same make, model, and add-ons, identical car) so I bought it from Sands In 2015, it was time for me to trade in my BMW 335i for something more practical. My wife and I just had our 3rd daughter and needed 2 SUV’s . We looked at Peoria Kia, Rodeo, and Sands. After stopping into Rodeo, after having a flyer sent in the mail regarding their giveaways and 0% promotion for 72 months. I met a cocky salesman from the East Coast who talked numbers and arrogantly stated “no one will beat our prices”. I was thinking to myself; I’ve heard it before and you lost my business. After quoting an over-inflated price, he attempted a hand shake. “Do we have a deal?” he asked. I stated that I will see what Sands will do since they beat the price on our last Sorrento. However, I gave my word that I would stop back before buying. Sands offered the same model complete with the convenience package and roof racks with cross bars. They also offered me $12k for my BMW trade which was $3-$4k less than book (expected for a dealer trade). Rodeo only offered me $9k and Mr. Jersey Shore didn’t know, I have been in sales since before he was born and a finance professional (had my HP10bii+ with me). He tried really hard and I amused my wife by telling her everything he was going to do before he did it. We finally got to the “real” numbers and a hand in my face “so we have a deal?”. I said we have a deal if I get the cross bars (which were not included in the model he offered). He then manifested on me and said “were not here to play games, if they are giving you the cross bars, buy it from them!”. I said OK, thanks for making my decision for me. I called my salesman (Brett) at SAND’s, and told him I was on my way. So Mr. Slick lost another $35,000 deal over $70 bucks. Today (3/26/2016) was my third stop just to look at what was on the lot. We met a nice salesman (Iman) who spent over a half hour with us, so I figured I could give these guys a shot again. We are trading the 2012 and looking at a Sedona for my wife. After a test drive I promised Iman I would return with the expectation of privately selling our 2012 instead of a dealer trade. If they beat Sands’ offer, I would have given them the business. HOWEVER, I noticed the same salesman from 2015 at the managers desk (they actually promote these guys for being jerks and losing business). Iman went back and they blurted out loud enough for the entire dealership to hear “he wants us to take $15k off the price, yeah RIGHT!” I NEVER asked for anything off of the price, and at that point was pissed and left the dealership. Simply put, these guys HATE it when you are better at their tactics then they are, and they are as slimy as you can get. Do yourself a favor and Make the drive to SANDS in Surprise. You will be glad you did! I will never step foot in Rodeo again and ALL of my clients, friends, family, and colleagues (and there are many), who ask my advice about purchasing a KIA will receive the same warning. After this purchase, Rodeo will have lost over $120,000 of vehicle purchases from us in just 3 years. Way to close the business!

The only reason I didnt give them one star is because I do like the car itself, and one of the managers, Della, is attentive and actually listens to the customer. The rest of the people I dealt with have very little interest in serving anyones needs besides their own. DO NOT BUY the GAP policy that will be offered to you. Your insurance company can provide the same coverage for a fraction of the price. I made the mistake of purchasing the dealers policy, and even though I canceled it 35 days later (the GAP policy gives you 60 days to cancel for a 100% refund), 70 days after I canceled it they still had not processed the refund. And then even though they promised to honor the original cancellation date, they didnt, and so I was shorted $98 on the refund. I have never encountered such sloppy, irresponsible processing of paperwork. Here it is over three months after I canceled the GAP policy and I have finally had to finish filing the cancellation by myself because they failed to do it properly. Review Edit, 7/01/14. I thought I had resolved the short-pay issue with the GAP administrator/underwriter, but I never received the balance of the refund, so yesterday I called them and they referred me back to the dealer, Rodeo Kia. I wrote out the entire issue chronologically, and faxed it over to Rodeo Kia to Chad Cicons attention. Chad, thank you for your prompt action and resolution to this matter. I have added one star to my review. I cannot add more stars at this point, because the last six months have been one long series of frustrations and irritations. I am sincerely hoping my next interaction with your dealership is a totally different experience, and if it is I will be happy to add more stars then. Review Edit, 7/16/14. Rodeo Kia has still not resolved my issue and refunded my auto loan for the balance they owe me for canceling the GAP policy on 2/15/14, over five months ago. It looks like this may go to litigation after all. Continuing nightmare. Final Edit, 7/24/14. My loan was finally credited with the balance of the refund from the GAP policy cancellation on 7/21/14, 5 months and a week after cancellation. Chad did stay in communication with me from day I brought the details of the matter to his attention, so thats good, but this is not an experience I care to repeat, ever.

Our salesman was patient and worked with us. They were fair with the price. In those respects we are happy with our purchase. However, we felt the finance guy, Rick, gave us no customer service. We had agreed to the price, but after seeing their financing offer we werent ready to agree to the terms of the financing, so I didnt intend to sign off for the car yet. However, he didn’t seem interested in our questions/concerns when discussing how we wanted to try to get financing through our own bank before signing for the car; in fact, he seemed annoyed. He seemed too ready to just stick us with the car when it was clear I was confused about what he was asking us to sign and not ready to take the car, instead of trying to help clarify before he had us sign the purchase contract. His attitude and indifference was very well noted. At the end, we decided to take the car using their financing as back up and gave us 3 days to try to get different financing. Later, we decided to go with the Kia financing we were offered, so we called back to make sure all the financing was properly finalized. However, after 3 phone calls he never called us back, he was "too busy" all day. We had to drive back to the dealership after work to see if we could get a hold of him and of course he was gone. Its very disappointing how once youve made a purchase they won’t return a phone call, not even about their financing! When we walked in, they said the finance guy that was there couldnt help because he didnt have our paperwork. Couldn’t they just find our paperwork and just answer our questions, instead of asking us to wait again for a return call? The day we went back to finalize the financing was the 3rd day. So, what if we had wanted to use our banks financing, no one would have been able to process it on time? Not only was it annoying that we had to chase after them to finalize our paperwork, but that it seems like they did it on purpose. Financing is the last place I expected to find lack of customer service. You can bet we wont take it for servicing there (except for the 1st oil change, because its free).
