I had a great experience at Don Johnson Motors in Rice Lake after purchasing a new vehicle! I initially went to them for service on my old car after having issues and concerns with it. They thoroughly looked it over and found that there were a lot of expensive repairs to make on it before it would be safe for me to drive in. After discussing my options with the staff, we decided it was best (most affordable and practical) for me to purchase a new car. Don Johnson Motors made the experience hassle and worry-free for me during the entire process. They took the time to help me research vehicles that would best fit my needs and personalized the experience to make sure I was 100% happy with the vehicle I chose to purchase. They did not expect me to buy immediately, they did not push any certain vehicle on me, and they gave my plenty of time to consider my options. It was obvious that their main goal was to get me back out on the road again and to make sure I was a satisfied customer. I test drove 3 vehicles with one of their Sales Managers before purchasing a car. Before leaving the lot in each vehicle, he showed me the unique features in each car. He, again, personalized the experience to tell me the benefits each car would have for me- and also the negative things that I might not like quite as well. I decided to purchase the 2013 Malibu. Before agreeing to anything, Don Johnson Motor’s staff discussed my payment options, what I would be expecting to pay on my monthly payments (based on my online finance report I applied for online at their website) and the deals that I could get. Initially I was told that I would be able to get a $500 rebate on my brand new vehicle, but by the end of my signing papers, the staff continued to dig deeper for me and found that I would actually qualify to receive a $1,000 rebate. They also gave me a very fair deal on my trade-in! When picking up my new car- the Sales Manager helped me get everything set up and tailored to me before I left the dealership. He told me I was able to contact him again with any questions or concern I may have. He made recommendations for me (like buying all weather floor mats so my new car wouldn’t get quite so dirty in the sloppy wintery mess) and the service manager handed me his business card so any time that I have concerns or need a checkup I could call him directly to set up an appointment. I am an extremely satisfied customer! Their dedication to being friendly and affordable is outstanding. Their customer service is above excellent, and their newly remodeled facility made me very comfortable! I would highly recommend Don Johnson Motors for their service department and to buy a new (or used) vehicle.

I would like to congratulate Don Johnson Motors for their success in handling first-time visitors like me, in the utmost and professional manner we expect, when traveling away from home. A few weeks ago I was ice fishing north of their showroom, when I decided to get off of the hwy for a bite to eat, and when I saw Don Johnson Motors was a Chevy and GMC Dealer, I was excited to stop in to get some routine maintenance done on my Chevy Trailblazer. I did not have an appointment, and I was greeted as if I was a long time customer. The mechanic took very good care in me, and my vehicle by informing me of the reasons (codes) for the dashboard lights that have been coming on, and they changed the oil in less than 1 hour. I waited in their waiting room, with other customers and we chatted about the convenience perks that Don Johnson Motors provided its waiting guest. FREE bottled water, soda, coffee, and comfortable seating with ESPN, on the TV instead of the normal Soap Operas, or daytime talk shows that I am used to seeing. They even had video games to play while you wait! Then I went to the showroom, and introduced myself to every salesman I saw, and the owner himself. They cared that I was their customer, and I cared that they were taking care of my number two possession, my mode of transportation. The SUV runs great, and the cost of the repairs was less than the quote I approved for service. I am happy, and I believe you would be too, if you took your pride and joy (car or truck) to them for service. Even though Don Johnson Motors is over an hour from my home I will travel there for my next vehicle service, and I will bring my wife along to meet the wonderful people who work there. Bob J. Best buying experience ever!!!!!! I started my truck shopping experience in my local town (was not pleased). I found the truck I wanted on Don Johnson’s website, with a great price, and made the decision to drive north. I was very impressed after my initial meeting with Todd Kane, Levi Johnston and the rest of the sales team, and they exceeded every expectation I had. Giving Don Johnson Motors and their sales team a five star rating is easy. I’d easily give them ten stars if I could. From start to finish, everyone at Don Johnson Motors went above and beyond. As a business owner myself, It takes a lot to impress me, and I rarely take the time out of my busy schedule to write a review. If it’s important to you to deal with someone that is going to be honest, and stand behind every word they say from beginning until long after the sale is over, then you won’t be disappointed with Don Johnson Motors. I would say to my friends and family at this point, “It would be foolish to not drive the extra distance, because you won’t find a better experience or deal.”

Troy Thole, Trevor Wilson and Debbie Nelson turned my nightmare of vehicle problems into pure joy. All three went above and beyond the call of duty to help me as I was having vehicle troubles on the way to a ski meet in Ironwood, MI. Debbie helped calm my nerves while I was 166 miles from home with a vehicle going into reduced power mode; Troy and Trevor stayed at the Hayward shop late as I got the vehicle into town, had a loaner car warming up on my arrival and got me on my way quickly. First thing the next morning, the problem was diagnosed and repaired, then both Troy and Trevor called me around 11:30am to let me know the vehicle was ready to go. The outstanding service provided allowed me to get back on the road that day for another ski meet in Iron River, MI. I cannot thank you enough for the great service!

I had an excellent experience purchasing my 2014 Chevy Malibu from Don Johnson Motors. This is the first time I have purchased a vehicle on my own, and as a single female, the staff at DJM made me feel extremely comfortable and confident in my purchase. I was especially impressed with how the staff made sure I got the exact car (color and interior) that I wanted. Also, before leaving the dealership with my new car, Dale explained everything in the car to me. This was really important to me because I felt confident about all the features in my car and how to use them as I drove away. I also know that if I have any questions in the future, the staff at DJM will be supportive. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from Don Johnson Motors.
