I dont normally post reviews and it has been months since we last dealt with American Auto Sales. But I would not recommend at all. Bought an Envoy Denali and from the first day it was a night mare. We checked the DVD player before driving it home...didnt think the CD player would be an issue....but get it home and the CD player didnt work. Paperwork had not even gone through and they were conveniently closed next day. Brought it back in after they got our money..they finally gave us a $100 check but a whole new radio was around $600. Not to mention it needed brakes ASAP. And then the suspension air bags were NOT RIGHT. They told us the air bags were normal to drop down like that. So we spent more money on the airbags and then when summer rolled around and the air conditioning was out we traded out of the car and took a HUGE hit financially. They cost us so much money and I wish I would have never went there.

I went to American Autos with my grandpa to buy a Nissan. The salesman named Walt or something kept telling me that he did not have to answer my questions because my grandpa was the one buying. He became extremely agitated when I asked for the Carfax report for the car my grandpa liked. He then preceded to tell me that he was going to back out of the deal because I was asking too many questions. His sales manager had to tell him to calm down. It was a very displeasing experience. I will NOT be shopping there again!

I had been to almost all of the places in Marion and some places no one even came out to help me. Jeff came out with a smile and hand shake, he was not pushy. He told me his prices start at about 6,000 because that is where you start getting a good car.....I was in the 5,000 range and ended up spending 6,000 for a car at Jeffs. It came with a warranty and was very clean. I will go back and do business with Jeff again....BB

I would never buy a vehicle from these guys I was looking at a Nissan today and asked about the ball joints because the tires were shot the guy freaked out on me for asking then proceeded to tell me we were gonna have problems because I knew wat I was talking about these people are scam artists and there cars are not road worthy NEVER EVER BUY A CAR FROM THEM

Jeff is a straight forward person and has nice stuff, we picked up a nice car for thousands less than the big guys charge. He let us see a carfax, take it to our mechanic. He had the prices on the cars( My wife loved that!) and he showed us what the N.A.D.A was on the car. I still dont like buying cars, but Jeff made it as easy as i think it could be..

Once again, Jeff @ American Auto Sales has come thru for us and sold us n awesome car. We have bought from him b4 and never have any trouble. He is trustworthy (which is hard to say for most used car dealers). I just bought a 2001 Dodge Stratus from him & am on cloud nine! Any time friends are looking for vehicles, we tell them to go see Jeff.
