My husband and I went to Brothers Main after having just left Mattress Firm (because the employees at Mattress Firm wouldnt leave us alone and were very pushy). Unfortunately we had the complete opposite experience at Brothers Main. We werent greeted when we walked in (which isnt the worst) but what really disappointed us is that we couldnt even get someone to help us when we were serious about purchasing a new mattress. We had some questions about prices and options and kept looking around for about half an hour until I had to ask for help from two employees helping one customer in the mattress section (these employees had clearly seen us looking in that section, but didnt even acknowledge that we were there). When I finally asked them for help, they werent very friendly and seemed almost annoyed. After asking for assistance, one of the two employees finally said that he would get someone else to help us. Well, we ended up waiting for this other person that was supposed to help us for another twenty minutes until we finally just walked out seemingly unnoticed. It has been a long time since Ive experienced such poor customer service.

I found the sales people very aggressive. Once I gave in - I found they werent informed - not on the appliance - but on the inventory! Id think that would be less complicated to reference. (If youre going to be aggressive at least know what youre doing, right?) After buying a hanging microwave the installer was very rude, when he gave me an installation time (after waiting a week for him to call) that was short notice for me I told him Id have to check the time with work and get back to him. I asked for his number and he proceeded to complain to me about his schedule, running through each delivery. Staying with my original question, I asked his number again, he cut me off and ran through the phone number very fast, then when I asked him to repeat the number, he went through the number antagonistically slow. He also reprimanded me for not having family or friends that could let him in. I couldnt believe I would be paying this person to come into my home. It was so rude. I got the number and got off the phone abruptly (before he complained more about his job to me.) Well see how installation goes. So far, Im not happy.

I saw a 40" Toshiba TV on sale on their website for Black Friday deals for under $200. I called this store the Sunday after and spoke with Greg I believe who answers phone calls after hours. I was very pleased with the prompt response however he promised me he had six (6) TVs in stock and that I could pick mine up Monday afternoon, they are below cost, everyone wants them-even our employees want them, etc. He withdrew the money from my credit card to pay for the TVs. Monday comes around and he calls me to tell me they are no longer there and never were and his boss is rejecting the sale. He tore up my contract and credit card number so I had to give him my card number again for the refund. They also would not agree to give me any kind of discount or store credit for the wasted time. Their prices were great and service is probably good but my experience was awful. I went to Best Buy and they were 100% all the way.

Good price on the appliances, but that is where the good part ends. Delivery drivers just dropped off everything in my garage. Did not offer to unbox the items or put them in my house. I spent all day hauling everything in and attaching everything myself. Then the mess from all the boxes, that was another day of cleaning up and running it to the recycling center. When I call "Brothers Main" my issue was passed on from one person to another, each telling the same story, with a promise to get back to me. After 5 attempts I just gave up. That is what I will do with Brothers Main, give up on them. If anyone asks where I got my appliances, Ill just say another store but them........Very Disappointed with there customer service. Bottom Line, once they have your money, they just dont care anymore.

We stopped in to see if they had stock of a specific LG washer and dryer set because I like to buy local if possible. However, after asking the salesman about pricing on two very specific items, he immediately tried to push a different set on us because we should "buy American." We politely declined and asked if he could just check the pricing and stock of the items we wanted. He came back and said he didnt have stock on one and that the other was discontinued. He then went on a brief rant about Korean appliances being garbage and that we should look at his American-made selection to which we replied that wed done our research and just wanted to see if they had them. He then threatened to call 911 if we didnt leave the store immediately. Definitely wont ever go back.

My family of three live in an apartment and Ive been searching for a washer and dryer set. I was undecided as to what would work best for our needs, (compact, combo, stackable, etc.). After speaking with Jim I was able to finally decide on what units I need. He even went the extra mile and made a phone call to answer a unique question that I had and was very prompt in calling me back with the answer (10-15min). My husband is going to look at the units tomorrow and will most likely bring them home. I HIGHLY recommend the Brothers Main Appliance & TV.

We have worked with Greg throughout our kitchen remodel. He - and Brothers Main - have been great to work with. This is a much better experience than one of the national big-box stores. Here is the important thing. Our refrigerator failed. It had an incredibly loud compressor. I called Brothers Main and they immediately scheduled the delivery of a replacement. No awkward conversation, no unnecessary questions. It was clear they wanted to make it right and they did. I would recommend them without reservation.

Weve purchased most of our appliances from Dave W. At Brothers Main. Professional, knowledgeable and makes a normally painful process buying appliances fun. He asks great questions about needs, wants and where the item will be located. They are incredibly flexible, as we were selling homes and buying one all at the same time. Dave took the huge pressure off of us as we timed everything. Great store, great employees,no pressure shopping and they have everything you could want including appliances made here in Wisconsin.

Greg, helped me find the correct TV and set me up with a 2 year extended service plan for a great price. Price was not the only deciding factor, however its always nice to get a great deal. Greg is very patient and willing to listen. So many times people don’t listen anymore. He educated me about certain features that fit my needs. I have purchased a refrigerator a few years back from him, and that is why I returned. The great service I received was from the Madison WI. store located off of Stoughton Rd.
