Great experience with Stephan. We had been to 3 other stores, all big, local stores and we knew what we wanted in a new electric stove. Stephan and Grand not only beat the price of the other stores by $100.00, but they did so without making us sign up for a credit card or some other weird deal. Just a good price up front. The delivery was a minimal $20, which included haul away of the old stove and the electric cord for the new stove. Other places wanted to charge for that. Stephan then spent time with us to review future purchases like a dishwasher and overhead microwave. No pressure, just information...thats what we are looking for in a very nice salesperson. Will definitely return for any future needs and highly recommend them. Fred Update: We had the range delivered today (4/6/16), and thought you might be interested in the results. The delivery guys called ahead and showed up on time. They were polite and friendly and very careful when parking their truck and installing the appliance. They made sure the unit worked well and completely answered all my questions about operation of the range. They even measured up some areas where we are thinking about a new fridge and over head microwave. So from sale through delivery our experience with Grand Appliance was wonderful. Im not saying we have not met other nice people at other stores, but my wife and I simply are not going to spend time driving all over in the future. Grand has won us over. Thanks to the Grand crew!

After shopping and comparing prices for most the week my wife and I decided to by a whirlpool wash dryer combo but needed some financing the lending institution we use needed the seriel numbers and an invoiced faxed them to pick up the money. They told my wife at 10am we cant fax but we can email it after waiting till 1 pm with several calls to them which she could not get ahold of anyone to see where the email was because we needed to get it before 5 pm when our financial closed . I stepped in made a call and was told they wont release seriel numbers off units till the sale is final which would of been great to know in the morning so we could of looked elsewhere ( by the way Best Buy will and will fax it) the salesman Stephen seem to let out a chuckle to me like I was nuts I the informed him we were honing to Best Buy he seem not to care I then made a call to the corporate office to let them know of my service which instead of figuring out how they could help just said I wrote it down and will bring it up in our meeting. So my experience of support the smaller local shop which is in my neighborhood really was sour the reason for the one star is the original sales lady that helped us earlier was awesome other big box here I come I can expect crappy service there and not have my expectations so high geez Mike

Do not buy from here!!!James was great to deal with until we actually received our appliances. They came dented and scratched when delivered. When we called to tell James this he made it seem like it was our fault but agreed to send in replacements. The replacements came the fridge got installed and had a scratch and a dent in it, when we called James and explained this to him he made it seem like we were an inconvenience and never once aplogized for any of this happening. He did agree to have someone come out and install a new door but wouldnt replace the fridge. Pretty exciting to buy brand new and already have replacement parts. Now 4 months later with the replaced fridge we have just lost all our food due to a compressor issue because they dont have anyone to come out a fix it. They say its up to the manufactor if they want to refund us the 300 dollars we just spent on grocerys. Save your money and use someone who will stand behind their product and wont say a bunch of crap to get you to buy. I am a Veridian Home Owner only process that has been terrible. I would not recommend buying Veridian based on having awful appliances you drop over 7 grand for.

After checking another large home improvement store for a new refrigerator and having no luck, we decided to try Grand. We are so glad we did! The selection was bigger than any store in our area and the salesperson we worked with---Damon---was so knowledgeable, friendly, patient and helpful. We could not have asked for a better salesperson! We chose an LG three-door model and it was delivered 5 days later for only $20 which included removing the old fridge and hooking up the icemaker kit. We could not even have rented a dolly for that... PLUS we would have had to pay for the disposal of our old fridge! The delivery guys were so friendly and so fast---although the fridge was a tight squeeze through the door, they managed to get it in and hooked up within 15 minutes. We absolutely couldnt ask for more from any company! Great price, great service.... THIS is how an excellent company does business! We will be needing a new dryer soon and will definitely be back! Thanks again so much!

Our dryer died the week before Christmas. We shopped around at a few of the big box stores in Madison and one other appliance store in Sun Prairie before heading to Grand. Upon entering the store we were greeted promptly by Stephen and had all of our questions answered quickly and with no pressure. Stephen even went as far as to check and see if any of the big box stores had the dryer we wanted in stock to ensure delivery before Christmas. We left the store without making our purchase as we like to take a night before making big decisions like this. We called Stephen the next day to arrange the purchase and found that he had arranged for us to receive delivery before Christmas! The delivery men were right on time and super courteous AND they hauled our old washer and dryer away for no extra fee! Superb customer service through our whole experience, with competitive prices! We will be back!

This place is a joke. I wouldnt have even provided one star if it didnt require me to. Went there to purchase an appliance, they did not have one in stock so we ordered it online through THEM. The appliance wasnt what we expected after receiving it, we then went to return it, and they wanted to charge us a hefty RESTOCKING fee over $300.. Are you kidding?? The appliance we were looking to replace this with was even more expensive which we were ok with. Not only was this ridiculous, a manager by the name of CHRIS was extremely rude and unprofessional. I would never recommend this place to anyone. So much for customer satisfaction. These guys are crooks and it even says more when upper management has employees that treat their customers this way.

The first time going to look there was not enough help. There was 1 gentleman helping a couple and that was it. The 2nd time going to pick out a microwave I was almost hit by another vehicle. That vehicle parked and the man got out and smirked towards me. I asked if he was looking where he was going and got a very "smart" answer. This gentleman works there and his name is Mike. He thought almost hitting me was funny and continued inside to eat his Subway. After finding out that this was the only place I could get done what was needed, I went back and worked with Dennis who was great. Customer service starts before walking in the door and I am very reluctant to purchase from a place that has people like Mike to represent the business.
