Spilled coffee on my macbook air yesterday. Immediately flipped upside down and manually powered off. Called apple hardware hotline to figure out what my options were knowing that it was my fault, and liquid damage was not covered under any kind of warranty. I asked the phone support person if I was better off going to a 3rd party repair shop to try to have the water removed or go to the apple store. He told me I needed to go to the genius bar and that they could help me out and try to clean the water out. Get to the apple store and I talk to a woman at the genius bar, told her I spilled coffee directly on the computer and asked her what our options were. She said we will take a look, came back within 5 minutes and told us there was water inside (I told you there was?) and that it was either $750 for complete repair or I could spend $1000~ for a brand new one... Why did I waste my time coming here? UPDATE: Took to UBREAKIFIX in Milwaukee, said there was next to no water inside the computer, cleaned and testing all the parts and couldnt find anything that wasnt working properly. Normally they said they would charge a cleaning fee and then charge for any parts they would have to replace however since there was hardly anything to clean inside the computer they did it for free. Thanks to them for being honest and evaluating the extent of the damage.

Came in for help to fix my Macbook Pro. It was my first time at the Apple store so I wasnt sure what to expect, but the employees were very welcoming right when I stepped in the door. At the Genius Bar they explained where the issue was with my Macbook and what they would do to fix it, and when it would be fixed by. As far as customer service goes, I was very impressed, especially because of how busy the store looked when we first came in. They even checked me in earlier than the appointment I originally set. For those reviews I see that rated this store as 1 star because of their phone service, one of the employees told us that they only have one person on the phone answering calls, and that visiting the website or walk-ins are the best ways to get help. I personally prefer face-to-face conversations anyway, especially since the staff was so friendly and my walk-in experience was excellent. Im still waiting for my computer to come back, but I will definitely be coming back to this location if I have any other problems! :)

There are two reasons for going to the Apple Store....to drool over all of the displays (and there are many, many displays) or you have a problem with a device or using the device. As far as I know, every Apple product is on display and can be tested (toyed with). Unless you happen to hit a peak period, there are more than enough staff on site that you will probably not have to wait for any assistance. If you are there due to a problem, very often the floor staff can resolve it however, failing that there is the genius bar. At the bar the problems tend to be a bit more complex and so you will probably have to queue. The store is easily accessible however parking can be a problem. The store is basically located in the center of Bay Shore and the easiest parking is found on either end of the shopping center. (About 2 blocks in either direction from the store.) There is street parking but (again) depending on the time, it may be difficult to arrange.

Best Apple store experience so far. My macbook pro was experiencing what I thought were RAM issues so I took it in to see what was wrong with it. I didnt have an appointment and just walked right in. They said it was about a 45 minute wait, but I definitely only waited 10-15 minutes tops. After running some surface level diagnostics nothing seemed to be the problem, so they offered to keep it for the day and run more extensive diagnostics on it. I got a call later a few hours later stating the logic board was at fault and would be very costly to replace in store ($800 ish dollars) instead they offered to have it shipped to their repair site where it would only be a flat $280 dollar fee to fix everything wrong with it. They overnighted it there and everything. Overall I received excellent service that kept me informed of all options and costs along the way.

The best Apple Store in Wisconsin! For the early years, I suffered at the hands of the Mayfair Apple Store - through my first iPod and moving onward to my iMacs - so when the Bayshore Apple Store opened I was excited to start new. First, it isnt as busy as the Mayfair store but it can get bustling on the weekend or during big launches. The employees working there are far more welcoming and understanding, especially the repair guys. I lucked out with this being so close to where I live because I appreciate the great service and the great products. The only thing I may say about the store is that its location is a pain - barely any available parking and kind of tucked away. How this gets that kind of spot and GameStop is facing the thoroughfare is beyond me. Highly recommended.

I can see the purpose of one of these places, but I received BETTER service from their automated phone system/ customer support number. I bought my iPad from Best Buy but I could see hardcore fans actually wanting to go direct. This morning i showed up a little before 11AM (opening time) to inquire about some scratching on my iPad Pro. Seeing that it was only a few days old i figured they would be able to help me. NOPE the red head girl who was checking people in told me i would have to pay full price for a repair. She did not even feel the need to sit me down with someone to talk about it. I called Apple directly and they were wiling to work with me and resolve the issue. Thank you for wasting my fossil fuels and time. Wish i would have got that red heads name.

Ok.after I talked with the person at my carrier store and he run a diagnostic for 2 hours -he told me my phone is going to be replaced. He ask me to pay a fee but I could drive to Milwaukee and get the replacement there. So from Green Bay I called and try to ask someone if this is true.but we speak with the machine .so two hours later we arrived with my two kids and my wife.and the teck told us the phone is perfect. So do I really have to drive 5 hours for that .and the phone is not working anyway.so apple got so cheap to even fix a few months old phones .why I pay so much for a phone ???!!! So who will fix my phone? Obviously not an Apple Store in Milwaukee.super disappointed excperiance from them. Apple going downhill big time with this service .

I am very disappointed in this apple store. Went in to see if they could fix mu Ipad 2 which I worked on with my neighbor, and the guy i spoke to said they dont service any of they products third parties worked on.I replaced broken screen and digitizer and the antenna. now the antenna doesnt work properly. OK, got it,I should of brought it in,I didnt. My mistake. But when I asked if any one else fixes them (aftermarket) or if i could sell it for parts, the rude monkey said "ask your neighbor". That was his answer for everything. Wish I got his name, but the monkey wears glasses, filthy beard and a woll hat. How professional! I will definitely buy Galaxy tab now, in addition. Goodbye apple, hello android. Apple is spiraling down fast as it should.
