I keep going out of my way to do business with best buy. I bought a washer and dryer set on Jan 15 based on the specs I provided the sales person, I was told the delivery would take 2 weeks to be completed. 1st delivery attempt was on time, but the sales person failed to take in consideration room for the connections, so the order had to be switched to a more expensive set in order to fit in. After I spend more money I was told it would take 2 more weeks to get it. 2nd attempt, again within the time frame, only this time they sent the wrong stack up bracket and they can not install it. I spent nearly 45 minutes waiting for a response, I spoke on the phone with Liz who apologized and re scheduled another delivery for Monday between 8 to 12 and since it would be the third attempt as courtesy she would request to be first thing in the morning since I have to work. Around 9:45 I figure Id call to get an estimated time of arrival since clearly it was not one of the early deliveries, and this time around I spoke to Jay, she was very rude, She kept repeating my delivery was set between 12 and 4 I asked for a supervisor and she kept insisting she was the supervisor, until she hung up on me. I call again asking to talk to Liz since she was the one who I spoke to to set up a time frame between 8 to 12, this couldnt be worse Jay picks up the phone again, she kicked up her rudeness a notch as I asked her why she hung up on me, we keep going back and forward until on top of having to wait almost a month to get my order she starts yelling and me. At this point I spent over an hour to get my delivery rescheduled in a timely matter and this time I am requesting a confirmation in writing since I am no longer sure I can trust your logistics and I wasted my morning waiting for not the first, not second but third attempt to get my order delivered. and she keeps me on hold again. At this point I am not even sure if I ever will do business with bestbuy again. At this point they have shown no regard for my time, money or keeping a customer satisfied. I need my order delivered ASAP and they are only giving me the option to get it by Friday or Saturday, I need this situation solved.

I wish i could give the customer service 0. The only nice guy I spoke with was the security guy. I went to return a 100lbs air conditioner, which i ordered online and picked up day before in different location, but i was told i can return it in any store.. It has missing parts and was damaged. First they told me that they will not take it, because it was online order and they dont have it in the store. Later i was like ok so i want to exchange it, but of course they didnt have it and they wanted to sell me one that was $150 more expensive. I didnt want to pay more, so the guy , I think his name was Gary, started insulting me and telling that Im making such a troubles instead of just taking it back to the store where i picked it up. He was just mean and really insulting. Ive asked about menager three times and that person never showed up. Ive spent 45 minutes before they finally gave me store credit. It was THE WORST customer experience i had and if you can please just avoid that store!!!

Decent in the store and gave me a good price, sales people werent that knowledgeable but were trying to be helpful. Unfortunately it ends there, they delivered the wrong tv to my home. Its been an absolute nightmare getting it taken care of. Sat on hold for 90 minutes yesterday and another thirty today. They cant seem to answer their phone, then when they do, they have lots of excuses of how their system wont do this or that in a timely manner. In addition their delivery company is really bad. Couldnt give me better then a four hour window, then they were an hour late beyond that window. Honestly, best buy wont be getting my business again if I cant walk out of the store with my purchase, if that.

If you want some information on electronics dont come here. My mother needed help finding the correct plug for our computer and the people were very unhelpful. When she asked for solutions the employee just shrugged and said sorry. Another incident was when I needed help buying a new laptop. I asked two employees who walked by for some assistance and they didnt even stop to acknowledge me. I spent almost 20 minutes just standing by for an employee to help me till I gave up. I went to HHgreg and bought my computer there. Ten times more helpful too bad they closed down. This place needs to close nobody knows what they are talking about and theyre all so unhelpful. awful.

Lots of new tech product and a good place to browse but the people that work at this location rarely reach out to help you and when you try to reach out to them with a question its usually ill get somebody to help you and they never show up. Its happened a number of times and now I just dont ask anymore. Other than that, they have a ton of tvs to check out, gadgets galore, and robust computer section. #Protip: break out your phone, open the amazon app and scan barcodes of stuff you like. Compare prices, add them to a custom list so you can keep tabs on them. This way you know you are getting the best price.

This use to be a great place to buy games but now they have gone downhill. Management, retail and customer service are horrible. A lot of people standing around doing nothing and they are very disorganized. I was about to another store because I could not find a game I wanted and they decide to put most of the new games in the front by geek squad. Three years ago I spent $600 on video games because they were great sales representatives and the games were very organized. This Best Buy needs to be reorganized and a better manager.

The sales associates at the Melrose Park store were excellent. I went to a different Best Buy in the area the week before and was told the TV in the store would cost upwards of $300-$500 to have delivered with the warranty protection. I came to Melrose Park and they set me up with a TV that fit everything I was looking for with Geek Squad warranty and free delivery. I feel like this store saved my impression of Best Buy and not only would I come back to Best Buy but would come back to the Melrose Park store, specifically.

I did have a problem locating a sales person (it was around 8:30 PM and the store was basically empty) However, once a sales person was located he resolved a pricing difference between the price posted in the store and a price listed on the internet (I brought up the online best Buy advertisement for the product that I was interested in ) the sales person then adjusted the price down from the posted price to the price on the Best Buy website.
