I am someone who has never been a fan of buying items over the internet. Although this review is not about the my first experience with best buy online purchases, I had tried it once before at a best buy and it was a failure. On the first attempt, the counterman at Best Buy did not have the items available for me when I went to pick up in the front like I think they normally would. I was told because of the size of the items I purchased, they left them in the back. When the guy went to the back, there was nothing saved. Apparently they had sold the items I ordered mistakenly. So instead of trying to figure it out, they simply canceled and refunded my order. Fast forward to my most recent experience where I ordered three 55 inch TVs for my companys waiting room. I used a gift card to make the purchase. I received an email stating that the items were being processed. Since I was in the neighborhood, I stopped by the Bestbuy that i was going to pick it up at the next day and was told I could not because the payment method failed. I said OK, maybe it is because i paid with a visa gift card, and offered him my credit card to make the payment. He said he could not because the sale had ended the day before. I asked to speak with a manager, and he said he was the manager. So I left. I decided to call Best Buy at their 800 phone number that I found on the website and they made it very simple and were surprised that the "manager" behind the desk didnt simply tell me to login and change the payment method. I did this very simple thing and, success, it excepted the payment. I waited a day to receive an email confirmation from the store that the TVs were ready and nothing came. I had a planned trip to my second home in San Diego at the end of January, and when I returned home, my wife showed me an email indicating that best buy had canceled my order because I had not picked it up. Games. Could have all been solved had the brilliant manager they had behind the customer service desk simply directed me how to change the payment status, so i could have picked the merchandise up that day. What a joke. My wife and I spent over 20k at best buy in the last 2 years, for both personal and business use. No more. Hello ABT.

The worst customer service experience ever !! DO NOT SHOP HERE!! . Lets start with how the hours on the door say 10:00am to 9pm and they dont open the doors until 10:07 might not seem like a big Issue (7min) but when dealing with the retail public , its completely unprofessional. Another thing coming from someone who works in sales, take pride in your appearance you work with ppl who are potentially spending thousands of dollars . You cant show up to your work place in which you are considered a leader "manager" poorly groomed with dirty clothes and bad hygiene. No one will take you seriously. ESPECIALLY WHEN BEING RUDE AND DISMISSIVE . It has always been a professional courtesy of mine not to write negative reviews or yelp, give poor satisfaction feedback . Or anything of that nature . In fact this may be only my second type of review ever given . Basically it takes a lot to get me to this point . But when I purchase something from 3 months ago and its still in its perfect formed plastic .with no damage whats so ever and all I want to do is exchange for the same item because I believe its defective (which my internet provider suggests) and you and your cashier are giving me attitude and talking to me as though Im a burden to your establishment . You better believe that my voice will be heard . Nothing against BESTBUY Ive always shopped there and will continue to do so. just not at this particular location EVER!! In fact I immediately went to a different BESTBUY location and they took care of me seemlessly . As for JOHN P the "manager" I think BESTBUY as a corporation should re evaluate his employment. He clearly has no regard for his job or the ppl who patronize his workplace . Their are plenty of ppl who would love to have your job if your not happy there .

DO NOT EVER PURCHASE A WARRANTY WITH ANYTHING FROM HERE!!! They screwed me over a protection plan on my mac that was for a year. Time goes by from when I bought this mac and then in January my usb ports dont work and my mac starts acting weird. I tried to speak to one of the managers over the phone and he was the worst basically telling my info isnt there and that I am basically a liar. I called corporate to help me and they didnt do anything I kept getting transferred and nobody helped me.This was in january before the warranty was bout to expire. I find the receipt tried getting help and they say sorry we cant help you like seriously! BEST BUY if you are reading this get your employees straight and your customer service straight cause you must have the worst training guides ever to have people like this working for you. I spent 147$ on "warranty" I have purchased from them in total with the macbook 1,175$ in total. Thanks BEST BUY for taking the money and basically flipping me off and the most rudest and worst customer service I had to deal with for 3 months wth people saying they will make a report then calling back to see the progress of that report to here it was NEVER sent out. Also having a complaint line that wouldnt even send a complaint to there own company!!!! As a precaution make sure you have the people on the register recheck your info and make sure they have it all down or you will be screwed cause they will not help you like literally wont help you even with a receipt. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER THE STORE AND COMPANY!!!

I bought a laptop for nearly $500 and after 6 months the hard drive went out prior to me knowing that Best Buy treated me like crap when I brought it in they said it would cost me like 99 bucks for them to look at it I took it to a small computer shop to find out what was wrong anyway I will not buy it from them anymore or any other Best Buys I spent a lot of money in their store every year at income tax time I will be finding somewhere else to get my electronics. The store is nice but when you spend a lot of money you would hope to get some kind of fair treatment at least check it out without charging me money considering I bought the item not very long ago I would rather pay more at a small mom-and-pop place or office supply place or what have you! I would call this place worst Buy

I asked a question and no one out of 5 people standing and doing nothing 3 steps from me would approach to see what I am showing to them on one of the monitors. My question was if this monitor has vesa mount. When one of them finally came to see what I am talking about he was so confident that every monitor has that, and when he realized he was not right he asked another young guy to check that out. He came back with no answer. He said we could call HP.. Then we had a question about desktop computer and no one knew can we order it online or do we have to go through them, we waited in line to be tell that they dont have it anywhere in US, so it can not be ordered. Why do you have it on the internet????
