If let me I will give a zero star. Went to sears outlet in Tukwila to buy a mattress they did not had large selection and they informed Tacoma has a bigger selection. After several visit to Tacoma Sears outlet found a mattress I like on July 27th and had extra 20% off that day. I ask from the sales rep if that’s the price for that mattress and he confirmed that is the price. I paid for the mattress, Box and for delivery. Sales rep went and put the sold tag on the mattress I purchase (schedule to deliver within 2 days). When the mattress arrives that was not the mattress I purchased, I told the delivery guys this the wrong mattress but they told me this is the mattress sears gave them and item number match with my receipt. The mattress they delivered was a downgrade from what we had, so we ask them to take it back but they told don’t worry they will inform the store and get the correct mattress. After they left I call Tacoma Sears outlet and explained what has happen, I think I got transferred to store manager, she told me that was the mattress I have purchased, I told her no and told her to ask from the sale rep (I think his name is Darren) because I saw he went and place the sold sign on the mattress I brought. they should have offered me what I purchase, even they had the wrong tag, but I didn’t want to make big issue out of it, I just kindly ask for refund I and she said they can do that. Same day they have left a voice mail to setup a pickup, I call them today to setup a date, assistant manager answered and he was aware of this, he gave me a earliest will be Wednesday I agreed, then he informed I will be charged for hauling the mattress back and delivery is not refundable, I was surprised to hear that, because first of all this was not my fault, I should not be charged for any deliveries, I think I should have not settle for a refund should have ask for mattress they sold me at the store. Very disappointed with sears. After this happen I check the reviews and similar issue has happened to a different customer 5 month ago. I also feel like FALSE ADVERTISEMENT because the item you paid is not the item arrives.

oday, I was supposed to receive a fridge from sears outlet in Tacoma. When it arrived, it was a COMPLETELY different one than what we purchased. The delivery people where nice, checked our paperwork and said they would take it back and to call the store. (Sears outlet, Tacoma Wa) When we called the first person we talked to said ahhh.... and put us on hold for 10 minutes. Then, we spoke to a lady, she said our fridge was still there, but she had to look into it. After another 10 minutes, Curtis came on the phone as said we wouldnt get the fridge that was supposed to be delivered today until Monday. I was pretty upset. Our previous fridge was picked up by movers 1 hr before the new one was to be delivered. Now we have to go the whole weekend without a fridge. And throw away all our food. This was because the store and its employees made a mistake. My husband and I did nothing wrong. We planned in advance for this movers taking out the old and new delivered on the same day. I asked to be compensated for their mistake. I was told that it was impossible (Well, Curtis offered to explain why, but said it was complicated, obviously, I am too dumb to understand). I said that we had to PAY $82 for the delivery. I thought that could be returned or discounted. Once again it was complicated. Is this what Sears is coming to? Every appliance I have ever purchased, has been from Sears. I worked at Sears for 6 years. I always talk up the deals you can find there. Well, that stops today! Who teaches these employees customer service, or what policies do big Sears have in place that stopped this man from helping me? They are losing everything their name meant in the industry.

I used to shop here a lot several years ago, and I loved it. When I needed to buy a new washer and dryer for our house that we are selling, I had confidence in Sears Outlet of Tacoma that I would find a fair deal. First, I was quoted over the phone at $603 per piece. When I got there, it was actually $673 per piece. I was already there with the trailer ready to buy, so I moved forward with the transaction. We loaded it up, took it home, and got the set installed. I wanted to run a couple loads through it to make sure everything worked okay before we listed the house. The clothes came out of the washer dripping wet. I loaded them in the dryer and noticed that the door wouldnt shut correctly. One of the two bolts that held the door was free spinning within the chassis. Still trying to work with what we had, I switched the door to the other side. Same thing. The chassis had 3 of the 4 screw points broken free so that the screws had nothing to hook onto. I literally had to tape the door closed in order to finish that load. I called, and the sales associate let it slip that she remembered that set since the previous customer complained about the same issue. So what they just did was take a return from another customer and simply restocked it and resold it. This is a chassis issue, which means the entire assembly should have been rebuilt; it cannot be repaired. The deceitful sales tactics are not only bad business, but they are unethical and illegal. This store has gone downhill. I will only go back to this store one last time, and that will be to return this junk tomorrow.

Im giving this a three star rating because while the in-store customer service was great, the delivery service was not. The team who delivered our refrigerator didnt even take the fridge off the truck before deciding it wasnt going to fit through our house. It just sat there on the ramp and he assumed, based on packaging and wrong measurements listed on the packaging, that it would not fit. We went to the store to replace it for another fridge, only to find out that a majority of the refrigerators, including the one we ordered, would fit through our house. So basically the delivery team just didnt want to make the effort. Not to mention they had a really piss poor attitude, and they didnt even move our old fridge out like they were supposed to, neither did they help us put the fridge together. Mostly because my husband just didnt want them in our house anymore. The in store service was great though. The woman we bought the fridge from was able to work with us, she called the delivery team and told them to deliver the fridge and we still got our fridge. So thumbs up for great customer service. A big raspberry for the delivery service. I highly recommend hiring a new delivery team in order for customers to experience quality service throughout their entire purchase process.

One of the more terrible customer service experiences I have received. Bought 6 appliances and thought I scheduled delivery for the next Friday. Showed up at the property the morning of delivery and called Sears - I wasnt on the schedule- turns out the person checking me out never charged me for delivery even thought I saw him write it down and verbally confirmed. No choice but to wait until the next Friday when I was available again to meet the delivery people. They gave me a 2-hour window and showed up an hour past when that window had expired. Called multiple times on the phone and couldnt tell me when theyd be there. To top it off, when they finally showed up, was told I had the wrong "universal hookups" for the dryers, which Sears sold me when purchasing the appliances! They didnt have any in the truck so washer and dryers didnt get hooked up. I also see some dings in the fridge we purchased that werent there in the store when we purchased. Moral of story - go elsewhere - the hassle of dealing with this place isnt worth the somewhat lower prices.
