Brand new store thats open 24 hours a day. If its after 10pm they only have the doors open on the eastern end of the store. The store is clean, the aisles are wide and the shelves are always well stocked. The produce selection is really rather impressive. There is also a gas station at this Safeway location, and that little convenience store that is there by the pumps closes at 11pm I believe, but the pumps are always open and well-lit for safety. My favorite part of this store is the underground parking lot, accessible at the rear of the store, because nobody wants to deal with loading groceries in the pouring rain. Using the underground parking lot, elevator to the store, etc., is really convenient. The friendliest clerks in Poulsbo work at Safeway. I do like the other grocery stores in town, but this particular one is my favorite, so Im basically there once a day. Great prices - oh, AND a Starbucks inside, so you cant really go wrong here. Finally, theres a fantastic seating area that they managed to make somewhat semi-private. Its a great place to meet up with friends for casual chat. It would also be great for a quick job interview, and since theres free wi-fi its extremely good for getting to someplace quiet and taking an online test or something like that.

Last night was my little sisters birthday, so naturally we go to Safeway to their bakery! Well, I can assure you we WILL NOT be doing that again. We went to the bakery last night around 5:30, I didnt see the bakery sales assistants name but she was THE WORST! She touched the cake we had picked, without gloves on! She hit the cake on various this such as: a box that was on the counter, the display box, her arm. My sister had asked for her to write on it and she REFUSED! She refused not once, but twice!!! She would not write on the cake at all!!! If it wasnt my sisters birthday we would have left right then and there... But thats the cake she wanted so we got it. But I can assure you we will not be doing that again. Such a disappointment. This store is just going down hill. It used to be the only place I would go for groceries and baked good. Not anymore.

Fantastic. I dont normally shop at Safeway, but I went there to order a cake, and purchase a few little items, of which included a Caesar Salad, of which I did not notice the lettuce in the bag starting to turn brown, the cashier at the till, noticed it, and asked the Courtesy Clerk to go grab a new one, of which he promptly did politely. Back to ordering the cake, apparently their "picture printer" was out of service, so they had gone to Walmart, as well as the next Safeway, on Bainbridge to get it printed, which was unexpected. I have never seen people in a retail store go to such effort for their job. I will definitely start shopping here more. A little more expensive, but worth it for the fantastic service that you receive!

Ive been more and more disappointed with Safeway. My family has food allergies and they used to carry a decent selection of allergy friendly food at a competitive price. The selection has been getting smaller and smaller and the prices have been getting a little higher, while Walmart of all places has been getting better. Central Market is just down the road and way better for healthy, organic, or allergy friendly foods.Id rather spend my money at Safeway, but they arent giving me much reason to come back.

My experience today was not a good one. A young lady in the deli department used a downgrading voice. I know everybody was busy. I have never had problems with Safeway before until I met this girl. not going to mention her name because that is just mean to do that on Facebook but just be aware young ladies and gentlemen out there the customer is always right and tones of voices go along with it

a solid store for a procurement run. in and out quick. my only gripes are the self checkouts in all safeways speak, no... yell out your savings. 25 CENTS SAVINGS, 19 CENTS SAVINGS.... this makes me too self aware. the lobby is awesome is except for the constant smell of inefficiently burned fireplace gas.

Always crowded. Always. People drive like maniacs in the parking lot, and weve had issues with an employing going off on a crazy, racist diatribe once when we were ordering from their Chinese food/fried chicken place. They have good sales Sometimes, but its our least favorite place to shop

Cant get thru on the phone now Ive tried to call 7 times in a row and it disconnects...and I need to transfer my prescriptions...this is ridiculous to say the least. I guess Ill have to find a new pharmacy. I am with Bremerton Safeway still, but I just moved to Poulsbo.

Wow, very nice store. I hate to say this but, its nicer than our store in our home town. So , should you use this store? Yes, we would come back for sure! Staff here are very nice and helpful. Everything that should be fresh, is fresh! Its just a nice store....

Rented a carpet shampooer from them. Didnt work as well as I hoped. My carpet in the motor home was bad and will hire professionals to clean them. But I accidentally returned it a day late and I wasnt even charged. The machine worked well, just not for me.

Today was grate I got out of the car and I started cramping up really bad the young man getting carts ran over to see what he could do to help then I go into the store and another worker cam to help me out those two workers were very helpful and caring

On Sunday afternoons they have the best fried chicken out of yhe places that Ive tried here. Also nice to sit and eat by the fireplace. Little sushi things they have near the bakery is pretty decent also

Grocery store is nice and the fuel station has a cool air compressor that will tell you the pressure of tour toes as you use them. And if you for get your quarters it even takes your debit!

Has under the building parking, good for inclement weather with stairs and an elevator. Has a Star bucks and its own gas station, clean,well lit, well stock, nice atmosphere.

A huge parking lot plus under the store parking with elevator There are lots of workers to show where to fine an item. Sometimes show you. The have paper sacks for bagging.

Its covered parking garage is great for days with lousy weather. There are at least two or three jewels working at the store. Rosemary in the bakery and Eric the Wine Guy.
