I have never been in this store before and was hoping for a little assistance to figure out the best way to hang a tapestry. I was at the area that had a few rods to hang curtains, etc on and wanted help in figuring out the best rod or approach to hanging the tapestry. After looking for a while for a store clerk who was free, a clerk came by and I asked for assistance. She said she was headed to her break, then asked someone on her earphone if she was taking break or lunch. After stating to me she was going on her lunch break she quickly said "this rod matches" and left immediately. She could have requested someone else to assist me, but didnt - and no smile. At the check out the cashier asked me if I had a coupon, which I stated no, Ive never been in a Joanns before. Instead of asking if Id like to be on the email or mailing list, she just checked me out-and, again, no smile. Not the best customer service at all. If I do go back to a Joanns it will definiely not be to this one.

The ladies that work there are always so nice and helpful. If they dont know the answer to my question, they find another person to help me out. The selection of fabric is the same as the super store. [82nd] The older building gives the store character and its just cute and small and my favorite joanns!

Very friendly and helpful staff, my only complaint is getting into the building in a wheelchair- the front entrance is super steep and I almost fell backwards in my chair on the way in.

It was very unorganized, and hard to find certain fabrics.The workers are nice but they hold up the line by chatting up a storm, I wasnt even able to find what I was looking for.

Everyone helps whenever they can, they arent perfect but who is?! They go out of their way to help you find something and even offer suggestions if they dont carry something.

meh. just okay. Hate their website, they wont let me make bad ratings of yarns. Grrr. I should test and see if theyll let me do a good rating. Should be illegal.

I know very little about sewing projects. The ladies at Joann Fabrics were helpful and kind as they navigated through the supplies I would need.

I could look at things all day in here. Prices are high I think. Only pays off if you have the coupons in the email. Staff is very helpful.
