I was very disapointed in one of their staff members named "Kanadi" frankly disgusted too she had a bad attitute with me and seemed in a bad mood. I was not asking for a trip to the moon, I was not looking for a technological engineer no, I was looking for the glue "THE GLUE" to fix my wallet. I walked around looking for help and found Kanadi and I asked if she could help me without getting a chance to tell her what I needed help with she says and I quote "you better make it quick I have somewhere to be" ... absolutely disgusting. I felt so uncomfortable that I told her nevermind and said that I would ask the lady that was sitting in the sewing machine section then "kanadi" tried to get me to tell her what it was that I needed after I had told her never mind. I straight up had to tell her never mind because thats ridiculous and told the manager. Ive been shopping at Jo-Anns for a while now, I go to conventions in cosplays every year and I always went to Jo-Anns for my materials and always loved it, but now everytime I walk in I always remember what happened and cant enjoy myself anymore. I do a lot of projects with different materials as well so going in there to see what I could make was always fun, but now after what happened I I dont think I can go in there and have fun anymore. Its not fair to the store, the rest of the employees, the customers and the franchise itself, I feel bad that I have to write this comment but people need to know about this kind of behavior, customers and management alike. I get it we all have our bad days I work retail too not far from the Jo-Ann store but frankly that is no excuse for her to talk to a customer like that in any store anywhere no matter what you sell or who youre target consumers are if I talked like that to a customer in my store the district manager would have a ripped my name tag off of my apron so fast the words would fly off and theyre printed on. After posting this and reading all the reviews I will not be shopping at Jo Anns anymore and will take my buisness and my ideas to Michaels even though their fabric section is very small. Thank you for reading and I hope this was informative.

For the people who have experienced long lines for the cutting counter: 1: have you never checked the closest number against the cutting counter number and grabbed your ticket BEFORE browsing? Its not a difficult idea and then you get to look while you "wait", which isnt a wait at all since youre browsing and waiting at the same time. Use your brains, people. And 2: have you ever visited a designer or local quilt/fabric shop in your life? Buying fabric takes a long time, especially with fellow crafters who tend to be chatty. Going to buy fabric is a time consuming experience, its just one of those things. And finally, yeah, the store is a little dated and the floors arent always swept (Ive seen straight up dust bunnies!) but I dont go to joanns for great customer service. I go for fabric and cheap notions. Its not a social hour for me so if the employees are Happy Sallies, it doesnt bother me. I guess if youre looking for something you could always track someone down and ask instead of waiting for them to come to you. Novel concept, I guess, but still an option. Decent store and can be a real money saver if you time it right with coupons. And they take competitors coupons, but beware they need a manager override so for all you time pressed people, it means more waiting, ha.

Called store to see if the carried an item, at18 min. the sales person got back to me when I asked for a ballpark price I was put on hold for 10 min. still on hold I called on a different phone and asked if I could speak to a Manager. The manager asked if she could help I told her what was happening she said she would check on it the sales person gave me the price I again asked for manager asked why she didnt speak to me she said Im to busy, and said they were to busy. I guess she did apologise but they all dropped ball. She should not had someone else take the call once I talked to her. They were to busy to give customer service. Even the manager going on social media to let everyone that the store is to busy for customer service.

I dont often write reviews, but I feel it necessary because at this store the staff is extremely rude. Ill be in line at the cut counter for over 10 minutes with other employees standing around gossiping to one another without offering to help. I needed help another time finding photo boxes and the employee huffed and rolled her eyes at me. I go here often because its the closet one to me, but after my experience today with yet another rude staff member Ill be going to Hobby Lobby instead. I called for a quote on a piece of glass and the woman in the frame shop was short, very condescending and interrupted me when trying to clarify the sale price. Very poor customer service, I would not recommend going to this location.

I waited over half an hour to get two yards of fabric cut. There were four people ahead of me in line and at least ten people standing around waiting while the clerk had a long, rambling conversation about a tiny order. When I finally did get my fabric the cut was so crooked I could have done better in my sleep. I have shopped at other Jo-Ann stores and am aware that the service is almost always terrible but this was a particularly awful example. Will never shop here again.

Re the earlier reviewers remarks about it being an old and dirty store, I disagree. Most of the Jo-Anns I have been in are 15 or so years old and generally need new flooring - this one is no exception. This one also looks to need some more staff to help with stocking and sweeping the floor but overall it seems a typical Jo-Anns to me. Which means I can usually find something on sale that calls to me and I always walk out with more yarn or fabric for my "stash"!

Ive been to this Joann location many, many times and I cant recall a time when anyone has ever been rude to me or unhelpful. Now, they dont always have the fabrics I need, but thats more of an exception than the rule in my experience. Given their finite space, I cant expect them to have every shade of every fabric available. Thats not to say it isnt annoying at times, but oh well.

Really nice store the people they are very helpful. They have a wide range of products. Great sales and coupons also. And good prices. The store is always needing clean and the employees are very good at helping you find anything youre looking for. And they have most things in stock and if they dont they can usually tell you when it will be in.

The staff is friendly but getting someone to help you is difficult. I even had a lady keep trying to sell me on a sewing machine and I had to insist firmly several times that I was just looking for something handheld. I have encountered other friendly people though and I will keep shopping here.
