Yeah- its a neat store- they have a lot of selection the big box stores dont have. I used to love to go there and walk around and get inspiration. But after having too many negative experiences with the jewelry department. I was looking for something specific for a fellow jewelry designer friend, thought Id give their store a shot since it was local. I made the mistake of asking the lady in the department she knew if they had it... she just went off on me with a tangent about how if I found a tutorial on Pinterest- I needed to buy the supplies from whoever sold the tutorial, blah blah blah. I was gobsmacked and speechless. It wasnt even an odd item. I just thought since she probably stocked the department, she would be able to tell me yes or no... or possibly- in this area...etc. I was very turned off by this experience and have rarely gone back. Plus everyone reeks of cigarette smoke. I always feel like Im bothering the people in the jewelry department if I have a question or actually decide to take them up on their offer "to help find something". Their customer service experience is very passive aggressive. I found that Artco in Tacoma pretty much has the same stuff and they arent a bunch of snooty overworked hags. I try to choose the local stores over the big box craft stores, especially since BF is local to me. Its been almost a year since Ive gone with any regularity. They are overpriced, its one thing, but their employees dont make me want to pay the premium price for the experience to shop there.

WORST experience!! I have been shopping here for years and today I come yo buy paint pens which are not behind a counter . A customer service gal quickly asks me if Im finding everything Im I say yes thanks you a proceed down three more isles now just out of her view and here she comes and tells me I have to give her my paint pens to put behind counter till Im done. Now I walk around store and wait about 30 min and watch 4 women walk away with the same pens. Profiling and when I call.store to talk to manager Im told we r sorry. Never asking me employees name or amythinh. She literally says all I can do is say Im sorry. So i ask for her name and the lady who took pens from me and she tells me she will not be giving me any of that information. Garbage. I intend to spend Saturday and Sunday of this week outside their store letting customers know how they will be profiled and treated like garbage

General Manager on 9-19-12 was horrible to me!!! Being a jewelry designer and world traveller, including inter-state, mainland USA, Ive shopped over 50 Ben Franklin stores in 30 states including 2 in Hawaii. Never have I met a General Manager so out of touch with reality. She was so rude to me I WILL NEVER SHOP at that LOCATION EVER AGAIN!!!! I drove 40 miles out of my way that day to visit it. The employees I met there were very helpful A PLUS! But GM was so unprofessional and downright rude. I am a retired/wounded Vet. I started jewelry design and sales part time for fun. My hobby has grown into a full time design and Import business. I spend around $3000.00 a year with Ben Franklin. I will continue to do business with this great company but Never at The Bonney Lake location as long as that GM has a job there!

I guess Im a little shocked by some of the reviews. I have shopped at Ben franklin for 25 plus years and I never have had any problems with any employees being rude. It has always been actually the opposite I have found everyone to be very helpful very knowledgeable professional and really a lot of funny employees. Some things can be a bit higher in price but for me to drive to Artco, I save money shopping at Bens between the gas that you spend getting there and back but my time is valuable. I dont work for Ben franklin nor have I ever I just enjoy shopping there and all of the employees that help me with things ALL of the time. So keep doing what your doing Bens is still my favorite place to shop.

I purchased a tool from the Bonney Lake store. This tool was advertised on line that it installs eyelets, snaps and grommets. It doesnt work on snaps. I took it back to the store and Maryann told me she could not take it back because it was opened. This "crop-a-dile" tool which is falsely advertised cannot be opened without cutting the clear plastic package, which I tapped back shut. Maybe it was because I am a man (she said, "what dose she use it for?) and she figured I wouldnt be buying anything else from there. Cannot believe for $30.00 she is willing to receive the negativity I will bring.....Kinda feel discriminated for being a man!

If you know what you want -- and I mean really sure, then this is a great place to go. I went there once and had been looking for something in particular. I did buy the item there, but later needed to return it. They also refused me. After the same issue a couple of other times, I have been really careful with what I buy. I worked in retail for over 10 years and have to say they are not correct when they spout the "law" about returns and have some of the worst customer service.

Bens Espresso. Used to be the best in town.... until 2008. How in the world do you make a Quad shot taste like water? Youd have to ask them. After several complaints, and many times retrying them over a three year period hoping they fixed their quirk, Ive given up and gone to starbucks. Dont waste your money or time on these folks.

I love this store! The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have so many really neat craft things its almost impossible to get in and out real fast. They are more expensive than other stores but they are close enough to walk to when other craft stores are not.

Fun store every time I go. Awesome range of products from serious crafting and art supplies, to toys and novelty items, and a huge selection of adult coloring books. Youll always find something to buy. The staff can be a little snooty though.

I had a number of pictures framed. They turned out lovely. The young lady who helped me choose the frames was fantastic. It was pricy, but worth it. They got everything done quickly and called when ready.

I needed a matte for a picture I was framing and the matte needed to be a 11x13. The guy who runs the framing department cut exactly what I needed while I waited. I will be back.

Has allot of what I am looking for. It is a more local establishment which is nice. However it is harder for them to compete with much larger competitors

I love this store and I appreciate that they try to keep prices down by doing their best to prevent theft. They have a lot of variety in their stock.
