I was in this Michaels yesterday around 3 or 4pm. I went to the Custom Framing area in the back of the store. I have professional photos of my families military homecoming from my husband coming home from Afghanistan...I wanted to get a shadow box and get the frame I wanted and make a collage of the photos to display in my dining room. I have NEVER been so angry with someone in Customer Service! I have never done custom framing before and I let her know that I asked for suggestions from her all she did was star at my photos saying she didt know how to put it in the computer and she didnt give me a quote. She was discouraging the sell because she seemed to not want to do her own job. She was saying" Im letting you know right now it will be a couple hundred dollars" I said that was fine. I was there for 20 mins with her basically standing around doing nothing and just being rude like I was a inconveinence to her. there are people in this area needing jobs and I dont understand why she is still there. the lady in front of me also seemed upset with her. Michaels is great but they need better customer service and people willing to actually work.

As much as I like going into Michaels, I do feel that some improvements could be made. Customer Service is awful, when I asked an employee if they might have an item I needed in the storeroom she said she would look. I then stood for 15 mins and watched her talk on her cell phone near the door, not once did she go into the shelving area. When she came out she said they didnt have the item and I should come back on another day. How would she know seeing as she never looked. Another area where this store could improve is to be more organised, everything is laid out in such a haphazard manner, what should be an easy trip is turned into one of wandering around looking for items; again no one on the shop floor ever approaches to see if you need help. Come on Michaels bring on your A game, youre not the only craft store around.

The best customer service, ever! Very knowledgeable staff and if they dont know, they will ask & even search online to find information to get a similar item if they dont carry it in store. Went in about a year ago and they had exactly what I needed for baskets to complete a decorating project. Went again a few weeks ago just before closing, they were patient even though they were closing and they helped us find what we needed.

This store is organized*****!!! Store manager knows his crafts and his store! Top of the line management! All managers know their craft! Customer service is a plus! Michaels in Lakewood is the Best!

Angel is the worst cashier at Michaels Ive had in a long time . She didnt even take the money from my fiance she kept talking looking away so my fiance had to set it on table. Very inpolite
