My favorite place to go digging for art supplies! I dont always find exactly what I need, due to everything being donated, but when I do, I save oodles. $1.50 for a set of 24 high quality pastels? $10 for a full sized paper cutter? $1 each for several containers of glitter? 50 cents per huge bag of crayons?? Its wonderful! There are also all sorts of miscellaneous things such as crushed glass and stained glass fragments, magazines for collaging, photos and slides, even sometimes things like broken musical instruments or the time they had a full vintage dollhouse kit for $40! Definitely check it out, and definitely stop by here before visiting more expensive art shops if youre on a budget or if your project is a little more open ended. Its also a great place to just get ideas!

Mecca is an amazing place. Its everything I love about Eugene. A wide electric variety that is always changing. They have a wonderful fabric and seeing section of all sorts of decently priced fabrics from vintage to modern, scraps of leather, antique laces. Ive bought drill presses and mask making items, Silkscreening, woodworking.. You never know what they will have. They work on donations so each day there is always new cool things. If you dont find something you need on your first visit, try again soon because it will seem like a whole new shop with all new things when you come in the next time. This truly is a mecca for artists and crafters.

Love this place. A few details to help: If you have donations, drive up to big door on the right side ONLY when MECCA is open and they will accept donations (and give you a receipt if you want.) Like them on Facebook for special events and sales. The website has details about what they will take or, come visit and ask or post a question on Facebook. Parking: there are 5 designated parking spots near the front door. Or take your chances in the lot while you shop or there is metered parking on the street. There is also free 2-hour parking a few blocks away across the railroad tracks, but set your phone alarm so you dont get a ticket!

Its a crafters paradise! And thrift store. All crammed into one. Like a store room all neatly arranged. With whatever youre looking for, no matter what you do. Teachers shop for free. Kids are welcome to free craft time . Everyone else pays little or what they can. Everyones welcome to browse or use space to do their own crafts. How can anyone not love this place!!!?!!!

One of the greatest places to find high quality craft supplies--and quite a range of intriguing crafts miscellanea--on the cheap; however, because Mecca stocks its (jam-packed, a perfect illustration of organized chaos) shelves with donated materials, if youre looking for a specific item, some patience may be required.

Great place to donate or buy materials for artistic use. Your items get used by teachers and artists directly, at a great price to them. I always have a bag for MECCA donations at my house. Any time I decided to let someone else enjoy a product, I know it will go to good use.

In theory this is a great place, however I found none of the supplies I was actually looking for today. Dont go looking for something specific, rather go with the idea of being inspired by what you find.

Great parking and a great place for artists to get inexpensive materials to work with, as well as a treasure trove of trinkets and assorted cool stuff. Always enjoy going there.

This shop located to close to the Amtrak station has recycled art supplies and craft supplies however it is overcrowded with these craft supplies and is a fire hazard

This place has such an assortment of eclectic and unique items for sale. I got some color sticks for glass blowing when I recently stopped in.

Great for random art supplies and the warm, fuzzy feeling that only comes by recycling/reducing/reusing/repurposing materials.
