I had an oil leak that I was told could not be found, but if I took it in and had the motor steam cleaned they would be able to work on the car. I made my appointment with Ball Auto and made another appointment for the steam cleaning, at the only detail shop I could find that would do this service, for the same day. After running from Tacoma to Lakewood and back to Tacoma (now with a freshly clean motor so the guys at Ball Auto wouldnt get their hands dirty working on my car). I was told that they couldnt work on my car that day, because they were already booked up. I reminded them that I had not only made my appointment prior to anyone else being booked, but I also had to pay for this steam cleaning of the motor that cost over a hundred dollars. I was met with a big shrug, and "sorry, we cant do it were booked". Not only was I out my time and money but my car still wasnt fixed and they couldnt care less. I found a local place that took care of the problem for less money and no crying about having a pristine motor to work on. I have told anyone I know to never count on this shop or its employees. Beware!!!!!!

We absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Ball Auto. We even bought a car from them because we love their service so much. They are honest, affordable, and one of those kind of shops you dont see anymore--kind of old fashioned, but on top of technology. They know their stuff and can fix anything. Everyone that we refer to them has the same opinion. This is a little hidden jem in Tacoma for sure!!

Personal, HONEST, dependable service. I have been having Ball motors work on all of our family cars (4) for 10 years now. I would not think of bringing our cars anywhere else. It is a family business that makes YOU feel like family!

this place is awesome. came for an oil change and thats what i left with. they are very honest dont try to sell you on a million other things that might be wrong with your car. i was done in about an hour!

A landmark of Tacoma one of the oldest bass stations in the north end my great grandparents got there gas here and and Mr Balls grandson works the gas station now not something you find anymore its great!
