I visited Harrison Footwear yesterday, 7/20/14, with some trepidation as I had read the reviews and some of the dislikes were very strong. But I maintained a neutral posture and went ahead, I was greeted by the owner (identified him from his website picture) very cordially. I told him I was looking at SAS shoes because nothing I tried on at Macys or JCP were comfortable. He confirmed that SAS shoes were very comfortable so I tried on a pair after listening to his remarks. I can say they are the most comfortable shoes I have EVER worn! The pain I had in my arch (constantly) is gone; Im calling these my "miracle shoes". As to the negative reviews I read, I can only say that I found the sales person to be extremely knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and informative. I personally suspect that these bad reviews were probably based on the writers own lack of courteousness toward sales people. They should try adhering to the Golden Rule and treat people the way they would like to be treated. Ive found (afer 75 years), you get what you give. I give Harrison Footwear my highest accolades. I saw a review by a woman who tried to return shoes; her experience was MUCH better than mine. Not only did the owners refuse to work with me, when I pressed them they called my wife and I liars and demanded I leave. I stood my ground requesting a refund and was physically confronted by one of the employees shown on their website. He was directly in my face and I had to push him away. His co-worker- also shown on their website- then stepped up from my blind-side and shoved me over one of their display tables. The two then wanted a two on one fight which luckily for them I let go. Dust up ended up with the bespectacled one literally screaming at me while I walked out the door. He was so loud and unhinged that passersby actually wanted to contact the police. These two are unbalanced, unprofessional, and unethical. There are other reviews indicating that this store banned a woman for having the temerity to return shoes. Luckily that woman didnt stand her ground as only God knows what might have happened to her.

I bought a pair of $150.00 shoes from Harrisons. I have plates a screws in one of my ankles and I told them this. They measured my feet and said that I dont wear wide shoes and they gave me a shoe size that didnt sound right. I trusted them. I wore my shoes one time. I am in school and I wore them from the parking lot to my class. Eight hours later I went back to my car. They had rubbed two sores underneath the ball of my ankle to where it took almost two weeks to heal. They would not take them back and as I was visibly upset about this, the person at the store stated he could manipulate them. I said okay and then he stated, "I need you to change your attitude first". I left. They would not exchange them because they were worn one day. I will NEVER go to this store again or recommend them to anyone. If you have skinny feet, this may be the store for you.

Both in store and on line their customer service and shoe quality is superlative. The staff goes above and beyond and takes the time to fit you properly. They are our first choice for our entire family as well as many of our out of town guests that find it difficult to find shoes that, "really fit," and are stylish. "Thank you," Harrisons. And, by the way your help with our Fathers Day gift made it a huge success.

Wonderful selection of Mens shoes. Place this store in a large city like Seattle and they would kill it. I watched all 4 associates helping customers yesterday and cannot speak highly enough of their ability to treat their folks with kindness and worked together as a team. Nice to see a small business work so well together and with such positive energy. Thanks for the great shoes!
