Stormans grocery stores are places i enjoy. I like the people they hire. The stores themselves are nice and I appreciate that they put money into keeping them nice. Bayview is downtown and has a larger deli. Its focussed a little more on the lunch time/tourist crowd with its deli, while Ralphs also has a nice deli, it seems to be more grocery oriented with a larger meat selection. the two stores are very comparable. The employees are the stores biggest assets Anns they treat their employees well with health care (even before the government mandate) and i believe they also have 401ks for their longer term employees. i am not sure exactly as ice never been employed by them. Both stores focus on local and small independent food Vendors as well as organic and the mandatory larger standard items.

I already said a lot about Ralphs but I forgot one thing, this place is extremely under staffed, and that goes for both stores. I have had to wait over ten minutes because they will only hire one cashier when they need two or three on staff. So if you want to support an over priced place with poor selection of healthy food that will take you forever to purchase, hates the homeless, and has some very poor politics about contraception, thats your bad decision. This place is terrible, too bad its at such a great location. The co-opt should take it over and expand like they have been needing too.

This is located on the waters edge in town. There is adequate parking and easy access. It is an interesting store that feels like it wants to be more than a Thriftway. There is a coffee bar in the entry area. There is an extensive produce department with a surprisingly wide variety, full service delicatessen, boutique ice cream shop, and a bakery. There is also a wine shop, cigar shop, and the meat department has some prepared selections of soups and more. Beyond this it is like most any other small Thriftway store.

I was here last with my daughter, who was very upset because she had hurt her hand at the park across the street and we had to run in to buy bandaids. No one approached us when we first entered, but when we got into the checkout lane the cashier from another lane asked if she was ok, then asked if she could give my daughter a sticker to cheer her up. It was such a kind act, I hope someone reads this and knows how much I appreciated it.

I was waiting for my friends to get some ice cream and other few items and I had my dog with me so I was sitting in the shade and the employees kept trying to tell me to leave. I wasnt harassing anyone and I dont appear like a homeless person or a thug. I was fairly clean in appearance. Then a man was washing his hands in the restroom and he got security called on him. Other than that the ice cream was expensive

Ive shopped here off and on for almost 20 years. I love the atmosphere. It feels small town homey, friendly, honest. Its true that there are cheaper places to shop, and I go to them when I want everyday stuff. But you cant beat the feel of shopping in a family owned, local store with caring and knowledgeable employees. And, incidentally, there is a customer bathroom around the corner from the deli/salad bar.

Great selection of organic and local foods. Fantastic views from upstairs eating area and outdoor picnic area on the boardwalk. Freshly made salads, sandwiches, and other deli choices. They also serve the best ice cream in the world, Olympic mountain ice cream. My only complaint is the prices are higher than other grocery stores in the area.

I love bringing my family here for a deli lunch and a walk along the docks. The view of the water from the upstairs eating area is beautiful. I like the selection of produce, and bakery items. There is a good selection of kitchen items and bulk grains. During the warmer season we like to come here for their ice cream served at the deli.

This place has it all! Amazing selection of higher end foods, an incredible deli with a hot bar, plus a classroom where they host events like wine pairings or you can learn to make from scratch pasta. Check out the ever changing events board. The only downside is the prices tend to run high but you get a lot for the money.

Great store, lots of surprises. Went with a friend for Olympic MTN ice cream as an afternoon treat, yumm. Theres a lovely sitting area and walkway overlooking Bud Bay. Stayed to do a little impulse buying..fresh fruit and veggies, cheeses, baked goods. Made for a pleasant break during a hot afternoon on a day off.

Extremely high priced. I dont like having to leave large bags up front... Right by the door where someone can just steal it. I was even required to remove my laptop from the bag and place my bag by the front door. I feel like I am a criminal. However, for waterfront dining in the deli you cant complain much

Food was ok but very pricey for what you get. Even condiments are charged by weight. $1 for a ounce cup of ranch. Really! Up stairs eating area did not have any supplies or packs of ketchup. You have to go down stairs for napkin. Great views. Missing a great opportunity on this place.

Great store featuring a Deli with hand made ice cream from Olympic Mountain, a wide variety of local produce, products and gifts, outdoor seating as well as indoor seating with fine views of Budd Inlet AND they give generously to good causes. Skip those warehouse stores! Shop local!!

from the obscure to the everyday items, they have it for you. We went specifically for the Gelato that they serve and was not disappointed. Clean store and employees are friendly. They have an outside deck on the water if you get something from the deli and want to eat it there.

Conveniently located halfway between hell and home this place offers off-brand products at airport prices. Feel like thinning your pocketbook? Come here and pay 17 dollars for a bottle of bottom shelf wine. Dont believe me? See for yourself! Took our business elsewhere.

This store has a reasonable selection but the markup is incredibly excessive, one might even say usurious. They also dont carry Plan B, the emergency contraceptive, making it more difficult for people to make informed decisions on family planning matters.

Great store has standard super market groceries; but what makes this store better then others, is you can find rare and better quality foods. Their deli & meat Departments are Leaps and Bounds above anywhere else in western washington.

Ive been here 2 times now to have lunch, been disappointed both times. First was a burrito with undercooked rice in it, next was a tuna melt, with cold tuna and unmelted cheese... Honestly, I would not go back here for anything.

Pretty standard upper middle class and up grocery store, with prices that reflect that. You can grab some food at the deli and run upstairs to eat it overlooking the bay, which is pretty chill. Deli prices arent terrible.

Decent products with a bit of a markup (probably due to the prime location). The name seems ironic...but if you love organic/vegetarian/artisan/hipster food then it is an option. Pleasant shopping experience as well.

It is small and cramped. It is also way more pricey than other stores. However it is centrally located and you can get most of what you may need for last minute ingredients and the deli is pretty good as well.
