This place has the most unfriendly staff. I always feel so unwelcome in this location. I am a childrens book collector and when I stop in I usually look at every book on their shelf. While I do this I am regularly interrupted in 3 minute intervals by staff who seem very uncomfortable with my interest in the items they are supposed to be selling. I normally end up with 45 to 50 wonderful books when I am allowed to shop in peace ...but I often ask myself if its worth it when being treated so disrespectful by their employees. if it wasnt for finds like these, I would never set foot in this location. Not a comfortable friendly environment for people who suffer from anxiety disorders like I do, please be warned.

People always act like youre stealing here. Everyone looks miserable. Things are very overpriced, dirty... not worth what they want to sell it for (considering its all donated!). Dont even try to get a dressing room unless you want to be treated like youre stealing. Work on your customerservice. You can find good stuff but sometimes the mood is so bad I end up questioning my own self!

Over priced. Hiring is selective. If a person isnt visually "disabled" they are fired. always thought goodwill hired disabled people to HELP them not LOWER their self esteem. they fired a very able person because he after 90 days still asked for help... hmmmmmmm perhaps he didnt do enough drugs? Or was too smart? I give.

This is a great location. The bathrooms are clean and the store doesnt have that used product funk. Best goodwill shoe department by far. Inventory moves pretty fast. prices are average to high at this location -1* due to inconsistency in prices and pulling items prior to the %50 color of the week sale.

Honesty The Customer

You gotta understand that Goodwill or -Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette- has a mission. They have lots of free programs for the public and help literally thousands of people every year. Stop in the Job Connection office, they can answer loads of questions.

Its a Goodwill. Pretty standard. Nice selection of books. Kinda pricey for some of their things, though. Even for the stuff Im not interested in buying. And for crying out loud, lower your shoe prices. Theyre USED shoes. Same for the furniture, too.
